This park is like a German Knoebels made in RCt2. Even the elevated log flume is like how you build a log flume when you dont know how to landscape.

This Park is more like a permanent fair. Many of the rides are tranportable and used to travel. But you can have a nice day there. And the building at the end is the Munich city hall, its neo-gothic.

That was an awesome video! Skylinepark once was my home park and that video sums up why i like it! Quirky odd attractions and stuff no other park does. Last time i've been there was two years ago but after this video, i definitely have to go back.😊

Regional parks like Skyline and their mishmash of old fairground rides, oddball attractions, and low budget but still great fun really is something that gets overlooked way too often by stateside enthusiasts! I am so happy that parks like this are getting a spotlight now thanks to you 3. They may not be 5 star places, but everything really wouldnt be the same without places like this. Skyline park may be one of the biggest of this kind of parks, but it is just one of many.

I visited Skyline Park for the first time last Saturday. Really weird park, but I absolutely loved it! Here are my comments on your video: 1. The skywheel actually does 3 rounds if you go on it on the last runs before the park closes (I can prove this with a front row POV video of a 3 round run, which I have not yet uploaded anywhere). Some say 3 is too much, but no, I love it! 2. The coaster under construction was already in operation, so I rode it. Haha, you are missing one credit from this park now! 3. The booster is an awesome ride (I love boosters), you two should have tried it too, like Tanner did. 4. Zero Gravity was probably the best themed ride in the park. Very positive surprise! And it is quite intense! 5. The slingshot isn't an upcharge and it is really awesome, but a very long wait. 6. The Mauer Sky Dragstar was running only one train when I got there. The wait was ridiculous, but... I did it. Didn't know you could do another round.

I often used to go to Skyline Park with my daughter. The nice thing about this park is that there are attractions suitable for all ages. On hot summer days there are plenty of opportunities for children to play with water and adults can also refresh themselves. Because there is so much greenery, there are also enough places in the shade to take a break. We have many fond memories of Skyline Park. We actually wanted to go there again this summer but unfortunately it didn't work out. Kind regards from Munich

I live in Germany andI really enjoy your videos. Esspecially the parts where you visting the cities. It is kind of fun to watch how people from the US see the different "culture"specialties every country has. And I often get to know stuff I didn´t know.For example the light show in Strasburg. A lot of the rides of Skylinepark used to travel across Germany with the owners of the park as fairground attractions. Wild and Wet, the rapids is completely transportable. As is the Wildwasser III logflume, which is also completely transportable. So yeah, a lot of the rides at this park are transportable attractions.

the ride OP always gave us 2 laps (even once 3 laps) on Skyloop loved that ride, also that logflume used to be on the travelling fair circuit, btw the slingshot was NOT an upcharge though it was the ride with the longest wait

Yeah so the thing with Skyline Park: This park is half Maurer test park and half old fair rides just collected there. So that's why everything felt like Oktoberfest. The spinner and the dark ride for example are straight up taken from fairs. And then they just started putting small other rides a few years ago.

38:13 that's not a cathedral, that's the extention of münchen's new city hall from 1874. The tower is the Rathausturm clocktower, you can often find these atached or near the town halls in Europe. the tower (and the facade) of the building where heavely inspired by the city hall of Brussels that was build in the 15th century quick history facts for the day xD

I LOVE Munich. Been there twice now and had an amazing time both times. The one time i was there was during their spring fest (Fruhlingsfest). It's the spring version of Oktoberfest. it's probably about half of the size, but still incredible. Enjoyed the VLOG!

This park is all portable rides you could see at a boardwalk park or Oktoberfest all in one place. Looks very cheap most times and almost no theming. I love you featured my hometown Munich in the Video, it´s a very pretty city. Have fun at Bayern Park, with much more theming and quality rides. Enjoy Germany 🙂

Skyline park is my old home park. 5 years ago the park announced that they will build a huge roller coaster, because they don't have any hight regulations. And what did we get? A small fair ride, that was all.😐

I recall reading at one point that they wanted to relocate the old Schwarzkopf Thriller (aka Texas Tornado/Zonga) to Skyline Park from Mexico where it was SBNO, but ditched the plan after it came forth that refurbishing the ride and bringing it up to modern safety standards would be too expensive for their liking. Huge shame really, especially given this place's trackrecord of saving old fairground rides from the grave.

There is just some magic with coasting through europe in seeing the sites, the quircky parks. The desert felt very similar to the us, high buildings, similar parks. I am really curious how asia will turn out. It has such a different culture and street view that i expect it will be a massive hit.

I don’t get why Maurer are still believing in the Spike coasters, they look rough, not super comfortable, and are really unreliable and probably a pain in the butt to operate I guess. The rack and pinion system just isn’t made to work with coasters.

Slingshots are upcharges due to the wear and tear of each usage. The bungees have a safe usage limit before requiring replacement.

The one at 4:45, they built one at Wet n Wild (in NC) , the aqua flyer model, but only stayed open 2 years'ish. Was quite horrible too 😂

Yup good description od this park weirdes themepark in europe. The front part looks pretty normale and then you get to the back sections with 1 or 2 nice themed earia's and just famrfields with coaster dropped in between. Looks more like an old administrative building then a cathedrale if i'm being honest.

park almost seems like bit jankier version of linnanmäki but is located on similar place to powerpark they even stole powerpark's booster! 35:20 linnamäki had slides like that on their old funhouse that got removed out of the way of taiga

Yeah, that got sold to Gumbuya world. Sadly the Skyloop is no longer in production by Maurer so parks cant order a new one if they like. Ive ridden one of the Skyloops up in Finland at Linnanmaki and theyre crazy.

At one point this park was interested in buying the old Schwarzkopf Thriller aka Tsunami from Mexico. The plans fell thru because apparently it would have the cost the park to much to get up to German safety codes . So possibly it was not in good shape after it was dismantled and left in storage in Mexico .

Fun Fact: I've been to this park many many times when I was a little child and it used to have just tons of slides and swings and I got somehow traumatized by one of those huge swings because a woman broke her foot right in front of me and I was like nope, I'm not doing this 🥲

The dark ride (think it’s a Mack ride) was sold by a showman to the showman who owns the park - all the big old rides get a permanent rest here because - like the water rides - are not in profit to carry around Germany - i think - he only sold the dark ride if it gets a permanent rest there…

Guys I live like 5minutes away from the park and I had annual passes for 5 years in a row. This year was the year I decided I had enough and I would never ever want to visit this park again 😅 its like playing russian roulette when you go on the rides! That no incident happened here so far really baffles me. I don't know how this rides even pass the yearly maintenance

This park Saved Geisterschlange from the German fairground. So you are correct. That ghost train was the former largest travelling ghost train in the world. So you are not wrong.
