Got fitted for the Cobra Ltd X max yesterday! Dave did the fitting, very knowledgeable and explained things very simply! 2 very sound guys, knew what I needed and got me to that with this driver! Did not charge me a ridiculous price either! Looking forward to getting this now and hitting the course! Would recommend going here if you are looking to get fitted!

Thanks for the explanation. Just bought the LTDxMax. Can’t wait to try it out in the field.

Great video lads, I got fitted for the Cobra Max driver with Dave and I must say it’s been incredible. I hit a high spin slice normally with all my previous drivers. With the right shaft and the Ltdx max head I now don’t even think about the slice on the tee , my accuracy has improved along with some much needed extra distance. Thanks again guys.

My SS is around 90-95mph, but I was fitted for the LS and have no problem launching it at all. The X was spinning around 3500 for me, but LS around 2500. My point is that the LS is not only for folks with 105 mph swing speed.

You got that right. I got the LS and simply chose a lightweight Reg shaft with a stiff tip. Launch was perfect and spin was ridiculously low. I do hit UP on tee balls and tee it high so the 9 degree LS is money and my SS is only 97 mph and moves to about 100 in the summer time when my body is warm and ball and driver are hottter. The key is efficiency. I know loads of dudes who have avg 105+ club head speed and carry it only 235ish and total only 260 with a 2,600 spin rate. When they hit anything that adds MORE spin they carry it more but total distance drops. In other words, their swings and setups are inefficient. My carry is 243 avg and total 265 avg with my setup. Massively more efficient with a 97 mph SS using a 9 degree LS head and a reg shaft with stiff tip hitting up on a highly teed ball.

Hard to beat Cobra Drivers and Woods for looks, price, and performance..You missed mentioning the club speed for the LTD x driver....I game the Cobra F9 still and will till it breaks or I find a Cobra that will give me bigger gains...Thanks for this review...

The ball speed off this seems to be way above the Cobra AirX. Is that possible? Same swing speed, but launch and ball speed across 230-250 years seems way faster than AirX and other clubs.

I'm a 12 HC senior golfer. I hit my ball very high and tend to push/slice it. Which Cobra LTD driver would be best for me? Thanks

Go 9* and put heavy weight to heel and set the hosel to the lower loft with the D beside it. 👍🏻

What would happen on the Ls version if you put a 14g in the heal 8g in the toe and dial a 9 degree driver up Plus 1 to a 10 degree draw.
@foregolfcustom Жыл бұрын
Higher launch angle with a little draw bias in the head.
@ruggerboy600 Жыл бұрын
@foregolfcustom would it also increase ball speed of the face due to more weight being in the head
@foregolfcustom Жыл бұрын
No as the weight in the head won’t incrementally increase ball speed. Centered strikes will help that. 👍🏻

So you get a LS in a 10.5 if you are a 15 handicap senior with 85 mph swing speed that would work? Yes or no?
@foregolfcustom Жыл бұрын
Might not need the LS low spin head at that speed but Yes to 10.5

did you get the LS in 10.5? Looking to buy one myself, SS around 88-90
