Princess Anne lands in London before joining Prince Charles, other Royal Family and business leaders at Buckingham Palace for The Queen's Award for Enterprise. She then flew to Scotland.
Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, also landed in London aboard another royal helicopter after a trip to Newcastle. He did not attend the event.
Princess Anne, The Princess Royal, had flown from the Great Yorkshire Show to attend the event in London, before then flying to another in Scotland the next day. She then returned to London later that day for yet another event. Busy!

A long time ago, 1972-1974, I was stationed in England in an Air Rescue Squadron, the 67th. We got regular "Princess Anne reports as she was on the British Equestrian team for the Olympics. They're training facility was just up the road from our base. When she left London, she had a driver, by the time she reached the outskirts she was behind the wheel. The M-5 or 6, too long ago to remember, was a no speed limit road, she had a lead brick foot and had that limo screaming, WE got warnings while she was on the way, to keep off the road, let her have her fun.
