Sorbet is a great ingredient for drinks. Sometimes I will make a flavored syrup into a sorbet to extend its shelf life from a week to months. It can also be a good dessert on its own.
@dimitarapostolov97882 жыл бұрын
Future Kevin asks what's my favorite part of the video? I'd genuinely say ALL OF IT, but that sounds like a lazy copout and doesn't really give any meaningful feedback, so for the sake of giving a more constructive feedback I will say this - the attention to detail when it comes to home made ingredients for cocktails! It is usually very intimidating when you think about making your own stuff, but these videos make it SO approachable and enjoyable that it just makes you feel excited about mixing your own stuff! That and the "zero waste" philosophy and practice really "speaks to me" as a viewer! Top tier channel, you deserve to be on the top! Cheers and have nice weekend!

Came across this coctail recipe in a book. It reqiered lemon ice-cream, voda and orange liquor. Really loved it, but wanted it more sour. Changed the book's recipe, took Limonchello instead of vodka, lemon juise and cream instead of ice-cream, one of my favourite now. Your version seems more sophisticated, I bet it tastes wonderful!

Hello! 👋🏼 I introduced a version of this cocktail at the restaurant I work at using Tanqueray Sevilla Orange Gin, orange sorbet, and cava and it was delicious! However I want to change the recipe a bit and use a gin called Mahón from Menorca, Spain. This gin is mixed with lemonade to make a drink called Pomada. I want to use the Mahón gin, orange sorbet, and the cava, but what I am missing is the lemon component. How do you recommend I incorporate the lemon component into the recipe? Lemon juice? Citrus peel? Thanks! Great video! 😃
@KevinKos2 жыл бұрын
Citrus peels are for sure the best way to incorporate them. Thank you and cheers!

Kevin, now it is summer time and you seem to enjoy it. Could you come up with a more creative G&T version. You made a tonic but even though the recipe is quite stiff it leaves a lot of room for someone like you to do something special. Only but love from Indonesia from a Dutch bartender

@TDwulf2 жыл бұрын
I absolutely want to try this. When you say you can prebatch these in the freezer, do you mean the whole cocktail? It won't freeze because of the alcohol?
@owenw10022 жыл бұрын
i don’t think it’s high enough abv, it won’t fully freeze thru like an ice cube but more like a slushy
@TDwulf2 жыл бұрын
@@owenw1002 that’d be perfect, because you essentially want it to be a loose slushy

I tremendously enjoy your videos in terms of creativity, attention to detail and production value. I've been following you since you only had 2-3K subscribers and I'm happy to see momentum finally started building over the last few months. If I may add one small point of constructive feedback: I feel like the intonation during the narration is a bit over the top, leading to somewhat forced sentences that don't feel really smooth. A little less inflection and emphasis on random words in the middle of your sentence combined with less pauses will likely give your narration a more natural rythm that is more enjoyable to listen to.
