Hey Coco Boy. Great video. The downtown tour is great. Sorry you're having difficulty understanding some of the locals. Many in the Getto speak Patois which is the broken English. They don't always speak standard English which is something new. But When I was a child, we spoke patois but usually change for those who are not locals and in school we are required to speak standard English. So, you will come across some speaking standard English and many speaking patois. By the time you leave Jamaica you will catch on to some of the unfamiliar words, I'm sure. Be safe and enjoy.

Coco Boy, This video, couldn't have been better with a smarter guide to give you a better experience. I didn't like his style, he looked and sounded shady. Most Jamaicans are educated, even the uneducated ones know how to speak properly even with the Jamaican accent for you to understand. This Guide takes you places then he pays you no attention, he's a terrible Host. Someone else could have given you/us a more spirited experience and you could have understood them better. The pastor is a prime example of the people I'm talking about, he sounds educated and you can understand him perfectly well. I try to go to Jamaica once or twice a year.
