I finally made this pie after reading all the comments and reviews and it tastes delicious. I avoided ending up with egg drop soup by lowering the temperature when adding the eggs, and simmering a bit longer after I dropped in the eggs. I also added a tad bit more xantham gum. Two challenges was I did have left over filling and I used all the dough so my crust was thicker than necessary. I did add shredded coconut to the filling to boost the coconut flavor. In my opinion the crust did not have much flavor, perhaps I should have added coconut extract to the crust🤔. Overall very nice keto dessert.

oh my gosh this looks incredible. i just added all the ingredients i need to my shopping list. im definitely making this tomorrow! UPDATE: i just finished making the pie. boy, i under estimated how much work it would be.. but it is SO worth it it’s so delicious. my family loved it. my brother didn’t even realize it was keto. my picky 2 year old even ate it up! i would definitely give this pie a 10/10, i highly recommend. as far as keto desserts go, this is definitely my new favorite!

Tried just the filling today to cut down on carbs and calories. I've always thought adding yolks to a cream would make it more luscious and it's true. I am glad for the coconut cream and milk to cut down on things and I even used just about a tablespoon or so of allulose. It was really good thank you. 😊

Making this for Thanksgiving. I just finished baking the crust and it's cooling. The crust is very tasty so far! Im going to add toasted shredded coconut to the custard also. Thanks so much for this recipie. EDIT: This is the best keto/gluten free/sugar free dessert I have ever had or made!! It came out so perfect. I loved it. Tastes exactly like the full sugar, gluteny version. Thank you for this recipie. It's perfect.

I got caught up with the fact that I could spell recipe and forgot to mention the rest. I am thinking on just doing the filling, looks really good and lower-carb. In my pre-keto life I could not eat fats like in the crust here with out it causing serious pain from my ulcer (amazing removed the carbs and haven't needed an anti-acid since). So I am used to just eating the filling so I don't really miss the crust in a pie. Thanks again for awesome recipes, I hardly make any of them but they make me happy to know I have a go to if needed.

make sure coconut milk does not have above 10g of carbs, same goes with coconut cream. Keto means "less than 15g of net carbs" anything above 15g will throw you out of Keto Diet.
