This was my very first bar I received that didn't have any wiring in it and figured out how the wiring needed to be, wired it all up and got a harness made and got it up and running.

Hello, can you tell me if this Lightbar model is still manufactured and where I can find it to buy? Is there a reliable website that sells this official model for Brazil?
@rjracing384 ай бұрын
As far as I can tell, Code 3 offer a few new models, their Covert series Matrix, 16 series, 27 series and matrix along with heir Pursuit models currently. As far as official models available for sale in Brazil with regards to distributors, that I unfortunately do not know that market and area. Best thing you can try is visit their website and select your region/country and see if you can search for a dealer/distributor.

They may have used or use this style/configuration. This one came from a retired vehicle in the Sacramento area. My first gem I acquired.

You sir, are a master light bar builder. Stacked lights for amber and R/B?
@rjracing386 жыл бұрын
Ellen Shaw, are you referring to dual color leds? If so, this particular bar does not have dual colors, all single color leds...i just flipped the bar from the front to the back real quick.

So I have a similar bar and so the only thing not working is the front right and left corner. Do you by chance know what’s wrong? Is it also possible to replace the ambers in the back with red and blue flashing modules? Ty!
@rjracing38 Жыл бұрын
If it is just the one corner side not functioning or powering on, there could be a few things that could be an issue. There could be a faulty board that went out, faulty wiring/connection, lack of power to the corner board, etc. Another thing that could be that I have seen a few times on repairs is with the corner modules run them as a "master" and a "slave" driver circuit board and if the "master" board or the rear board is not getting power, it will not feed power to the "slave" driver circuit or the front board using the white master/slave control wire.

I cant figure out the cruise option on this lightbar.
@rjracing386 жыл бұрын
Arnaldo Collazo, depending on the options installed on your bar, you may or may not have a cruise option...the configuration of mine for example has a wire lead for each module and each module has a set programmed flash patterns that I would change by using a screw driver to join and short pin J1 for a second on the back of each module. If yours doesn't have a main pcb control board in the center of the bar like a LC Liberty for example, you may not have that option for a cruise light setup...
@iMoses146 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, the X2100 series does not have a "cruise mode". You'd have to get a 21TR Plus or an RX2700CC. I have both and the cruise feature is great for being on scene.
@musicman123472 жыл бұрын
@@iMoses14 I have a couple 21TR Plus versions, have you been able to get a light pattern set on yours? According to the manual it’s the black/red stripe wire but the pattern keeps cycling through and not saving.

Hi. Can you recommend this beam in relation to Arejent S1 or Arjenbt SL?

Sorry, Arjent S2 or Arjent SL

In my opinion, I love the Federal Signal Arjent S2 lightbar much better as I have a lot more features I can play with and a more versatile lightbar.

I just purchased one of these, and I cannot find a wiring diagram anywhere. Any tips?
@rjracing383 жыл бұрын
Best thing that I have noticed with a few of the ones I have worked on was each light head was wired individually. One manual I found online with would get you a rough idea is here, www.pescanada.com/docs/shared/pdf/led-x2100_manual_t09453_rev_11.pdf.

@@rjracing38 I have all the main flashers figured out. Besides the front corners, and the narrow stick. No matter the wire configuration I try, i cannot get the arrow stick to come on. And the front corners aren't flashing with the rear. I checked the master/slave wire. But nothing. The manual mentioned a "cut-off mode" though.
@justinsherrill21533 жыл бұрын
@@rjracing38 does the arrow stick require it's own control box?
@rjracing383 жыл бұрын
@@justinsherrill2153 your front corners could have been in the cut-off mode, i would try "jumping" or shorting the master lighthead or the rear head and see if that changes the pattern for the slave or front lighthead.
@rjracing383 жыл бұрын
@@justinsherrill2153 with regards to the arrow stick function, do you have a separate control box wired up to those lightheads to make the arrow stick functionality work? The arrow stick or traffic advisor function won't work without that control box i do believe and that was how I had to set mine up, with 2 control boxes...one for my traffic advisor and a second to co trol my main light patterns.

my departments crown vics and suburbans had these.... the alley lights and takedowns were fucking useless..... and now 8 years later the plastic is so oxidized you might as well not even turn them on...
@rjracing385 жыл бұрын
Haha, yea, I can definitely see the takedowns and alley lights not being worth much. I have taken a few of these older bars apart and resurfaced the plastic to remedy the oxidation but within a few years, were right back to where they started...but down side was if you wanted to see in front of your hood, they were good...beyond that, needed stronger lighting such as the LED modules and not the halogen bulbs.
