Sociopaths ca 5-8 years ago were apparently capable of feeling emotions, but they just didn't care about other's feelings. I don't quite know who changed this, but it was very recently in language terms. I don't really know a simple word anymore to describe Lloyd, because he is clearly not a sociopath based on modern definition. He's too restrained to be a modern sociopath. Lack of empathy, I guess?

In all honesty, Lloyd makes every scene better. My very first edit was literally every scene in which spoke or appeared (we're talking over 40 minutes of total source material). Twas quite the effort to narrow it down to this final product haha

I found the Sub for most characters in Code geass to be grating to the ears.. (ESPECIALLY Lloyd and Suzaku) Liam 'O Brein was just too good. The other two standouts were Of course Johnny Yong Bosch as Lelouch.. and Crispin Freeman as Jeremiah Gottwald..

Great Destroyer How is my opinion stupid then? In what way are the characters on this show well written? Is it the way that Lelouche is supposed to be this cold calculating commander that breaks down mentally every time something doesn't go his way? Is the the way that Ohgi is a complete traitor yet has the nerve to accuse Zero? Is the it the way The Black Knights turned on Zero just because their enemy said they should? Is it the way that Suzaku's wrong and no one ever really points out how wrong he he is? Is it the way that none of the characters actually grow and become different from when the story started? Tell me, I'm dying to know. How are the characters well written and logical? The characters on Naruto make more sense than this show.

+Courtney Cannava Liam O'Brien was born to voice Lloyd. While every dub has its ups and downs, I felt the English cast did an overall great job, especially from Johnny Yong Bosch actually trying, Yuri Lowenthal capturing Suzaku's conflicting moral compass, and Kate Higgins nailing the whimsical and enigmatic spirit CC. But when all is said and done, Liam O'Brien and Crispin Freeman are, in my opinion, steal the show and are the strongest VAs in the dub.
