He then put on a sad face going against the script, this was con fjrmed by a writer even. This made fans believe The Rock was abusing power and sabaotging him despite this match being teased since last September on Pats show. WM Is booked long ahead and Rock took time off for it all even. His daughter recieved death threats because Cody lied to the audience in an attempt to sabatoge and bury The Rock for the match. Why would the Rock want a gift from him? 30:12 like triple H said "it aint fun and games for these guys" which is why the rock gave back the gift. Brock lesnar once said "dwayne taught me to be selfish if you want to succeed in this business" which is why lesnar respects the rock for that cos brock had to find out for himself how the business works just like how the rock did. The rock had a tough time coming through like mark henry stated in past interviews cos everybody was looking out for number one. Cody and this new era in the locker room didnt experience that. So giving the gift back wasnt a disrespect it was to show cody that you cant be soft in this game.
@tqueen71317 ай бұрын
Hmm it's actually because who wants a gift from someone who literally tried to sabatoge you and who's fans sent death threats to their daughter of their lies? Let's he real here. Cody knew it wasn't his match it had been teased Rock vs Roman since September last year on Pats show. Cody admits before Rumble he was told even but he pointed at Roman to make the audience believe it was. Then he was written a script to fix it and as confirmed by a writer he put on a sad face when he was not supposed to. This was to again sabatoge and make the audience think The Rock stole the match from him when it was never his. Would you want a gift from someone who did that to you? Highly doubtful and still The Rock pivoted and gave him the story and helped put him over because he's an honorable person and The Peoples Champion. Still Cody was trying to actively sabatoge even in this video.
@Jeff_Pryce7 ай бұрын
@@tqueen7131 😂 Stop. Just stop. Nobody’s buying the BS you’re selling. Rock tried a power play, and it backfired. He will still have plenty of opportunity to have his little dream match with Roman, and with a better story. If he had done it now, it would not have been very good as opposed to building the story for a year like it’s supposed to. This Wrestlemania was one of the best ever because of Cody’s story. This was his time, and he took his shot with the fans’ blessing and support.

@tqueen71317 ай бұрын
@johnnysupreme5718 If that old backstabbing mentality that Triple H has been accused of by many is gone then why did Cody know it wasn't his match but attempt to make fans believe so and sabatoge someone? Why did he point at the sign and then Romanknowing it was not his match? Why did he go on Raw and tell the audience next week they will see what happened with his sad pouty face to set it up even more? Why did he go against the script he was given and put a sad face on instead of being a man and saying "hey I know you been booked for this match but I would like to somehow participate?" Cause that's what an honorable man does. They don't walk out and set up a sabatoge to make the audience think someone abused real power and stole something they didn't. That's the exact same thing many people from announcers to ex wrestlers (Henry himself has spoken on I believe) have said Paul L used to do to wrestlers is attempt to sabatage and bury. Looks like the same Vince and Paul L mentality it always was.

For example, you can't get a lucky punch on an MMA champion if you don't make weight first amongst other things like joining a local gym, signing up for an amatuer fight, etc.

The whole Cody/Roman/Rock thing was a complete mess So according to Punk himself on the MMA Hour, he said that Cody was always gonna win the rumble. Whereas Punk will go after Seth for the WHC, then Drew will probably get involved to make that a triple threat match. Now Cody said it was a possibility, so WWE weren’t sure on what to do. But if they actually went with Rock vs Roman, Cody might’ve not made it to Mania, even after winning the Rumble. I’ve seen things about Cody going off script and when he pointed at Roman. That sounds so stupid because why would the cameras already be looking at Roman, and there was a cameraman next to Roman. The whole thing was a complete mess and thx goodness they pivoted because it worked well for everyone.

Overall this was the intended idea Cody was going to win the Rumble but get injured in angle before Wrestlemania which gives Rock an excuse to fight Roman at Wrestlemania Roman was going to win and then Cody was going to come back and beat Roman using his Rumble privilege he didn't get to use since he was taken out Punk and Rollins was the plan but Punk getting injured made Rollins not have a wrestlemania opponent Drew was orginally going to fight Priest in a normal match so Cody and Rollins 4 was the plan obviously due to overall negative feedback Cody was given his opportunity back and Rollins who was promised a wrestlemania main event was injected into the bloodline feud and Rock as well needed something to do now. Drew wrestlemania match was changed as well to fight Rollins since Drew was tease but wwe was really unsure of it until elimination chamber times

Cody gives off heel vibes to me. The corporate suit, how he sits, and talks like a politician. Makes sense though. American nightmare would be corporate whereas the American dream is more humble and blue collar.

If Cody knew he was supposed to face Seth at WM, why did he point to Roman at the end of the Royal Rumble? Did he go rogue? 🤔
@tqueen71317 ай бұрын
Unfortunately this isn't the right channel for real questions. We all know he sabatoged the Rock vs Roman match advertised since last Septmeber on Pats show even but here they will pretend he's great and won't call him out for what hundreds of thousands are right now. The main guy is his biggest Stan and the followers of this channel are mostly blind Cody supporters not aware of the evidence or pretending he didn't attempt to make the audience believe the match was his when it wasn't.

Exactly my question?

The original plan was Roman vs Cody and Punk vs Rollins but when Rock came back they was going to have Cody get injured and miss wrestlemania but when Punk got injured they turnt into Cody vs Seth again for the title since Seth needed a opponent backlash from fans change this and Cody got his original match while Drew got a title match when Drew was supposed to fight Priest so Drew really change shit around
