there is coffee and caffeine in frappucinos, hers would have had 100 mg. to feel caffeine effects [buzzed or more awake] it takes 20-200 depending on the person, but since she is an avid coffee drinker it would probably take more due to her addiction. what she felt from the melted ice cream drink was probably mostly sugar and placebo.

Scientifically impossible, caffeine is a stimulant that affects the speed your GABA transfers messages over neurons. However 10 minutes generally is not enough for your body to metabolise the caffeine, 15-30 minutes on an empty/light stomach. So saying it does "nothing" is incorrect, but you won't have an over the top amphetamine high from it.

I usually drink caffeine, like coffee and tea, and I used to have a huge issue cause it helped me with my depression (it screws with my dopamine, which I lack) and actually HELPS my anxiety with certain amounts so I drank it a lot, but when I tried to cut it cold turkey, it really sucks. I know caffeine is addictive, but if you check yourself, you can actually keep it safe and stable, and it really does help, sometimes not in ways sleep does. (Though, don’t skip sleep. Sleep is VERY good, don’t skip sleep.)

I gave up coffee. Too much caffeine was messing me up. Now I just take caffeine in the form of unsweetened cocoa powder (morning, with milk) and green tea (not often).

I drink coffee for 75% taste, not the effects I get from it. I drink 2 cups a day usually and then sometimes later on in the evening I will have a decaf coffee. It tastes good, it's warm, easy, fast, just like tea. The woman in this video with her 6 cups a day of coffee is just ridiculous and she needs a caffeine detox entirely. 2 weeks with no caffeine at all should help her drink only around 2 a day. Also, getting your caffeine from coffee or tea is much much better than energy drinks, sodas, chocolate candies, or the 5 hour energy shot. Tea and coffee is straight from the earth with no extra sugars or harmful ingredients.

As an avid coffee drinker and longtime barista, if you're having to make 6 cups of coffee to make it through the day you're making it totally wrong. An average cup of joe should have anywhere between 1/8 and 1/6 of a pound of coffee beans. One cup should be enough to get you through the day, and should be sipped slowly throughout a few hours.
