Tried your recipe for your coffee pavlova and it was delicious. I didn't like the colour when I took it from the oven, but when I dressed it up with whipped cream and homemade salted caramel sauce it became the "belle of the ball" thank you Sharon. Greetings from Dublin, Ireland

Hi Liz, that's wonderful to hear! It's a favourite in my home, even by the ones who don't even like coffee!!! How lovely to hear from you on the other side of the world, one of my most favourite cities which I'd love to visit one day!!!

Hello from the States...just checking that the oven temperature you mentioned was in Celsius. I can do the conversion myself, but wanted to make certain. I LOVE meringue, and I would LOVE to try this.

runwild42 Hi! Lovely to hear from you & thanks for watching my recipe! I used degrees Celsius, normally I show the converted Fahrenheit temperature but looks like I forgot on this one - sorry! Good luck with it, believe me it's delicious. Even my hubby and kids who don't like coffee devour this dessert! Let me know how you go!

Looks great Sharon....:) I don't know if we have caster sugar in the states. I watch quite a few cooking shows from Australia and the UK. and it is used quite often... Do you know if it's called something different here?
@cakesbysharon10 жыл бұрын
Ron M Hi Ron, thanks! Caster sugar is finer than normal sugar which you might use to make a cup of tea or coffee. It's not like powdered sugar, it's just a more refined (smaller granules) sugar than normal sugar. It dissolves a lot quicker than normal sugar (due to the smaller granules) which is why it's used in most cake recipes. Hope this helps!

Hannah Luke Hi Hannah, it's been an age old debate over where it's origins are, I'm happy to say it's central to both the Kiwi's & the Aussies :)
