Debatable, he hadn’t actually carried out any crime, remember the FBI can indict a ham sandwich. His mother got him locked away for possibly a life term. I wouldn’t call her a hero, she could’ve always raised him to be responsible, but she took the easy way out and let the government do it. She’s not a hero, she’s a zero!

I wouldnt call his mother excellent in that regard since she turned a blind eye to her sons deranged behaviours until it was too late. If she actually noticed what he was turning into from the beginning she could step up and bring him to counselling and give him a chance to become a normal human again. Instead she just waited until he was too far down into the "redpill" ideology and called the cops on her own son.

A bit of a sidenote: Feeling lonely and not worthy of love is bad enough but the social pressure, to find a partner (even if you don't even want one) or else something's wrong with you is so unhelpful towards young people and I hope that this mindset will eventually change.

Finding a partner is important because of the human need for socialization and companionship. We can't base our societal standards on a divergent few when it's to the detriment of the majority. Most people benefit greatly from having someone special in their life and if you don't want that there *is* some form of issue involved. It's not normal by any standard, be it physical or mental, for someone to not be interested in affection and love, if you aren't it's a sign you need counseling and/or a diagnoses to fill in the blanks. It's not a matter of mindset, it's a matter of what benefits the species and what is healthy for the majority of us. That being said, if you date someone purely because people tell you that you should, that's called poor decision making. You can't blame those around you for doing something with no reason other than, "They told me to."
@derp_dragons
@derp_dragons Жыл бұрын
@@AParticularlyConcernedCitizen to base your selfworth on having a partneris not healthy either. So is thinking that you can only be loved by a SO. And lastly, not constantly being in a relationship to have time to figure yourself out and to learn who you are as a person is rather beneficial to your personal growth. It seems obvious to me that you never were in the situation or heard of anyone where the pressure to "finally be a normal person" is pushed so hard that even the father tries to get his son laid by "buying him that experience". Fathers being pushy about this towards their sons seems to be quite common, from my experience. And I'm talking ~18 years. You also never seem to have encountered people who get into relationships just to be in a relationship. Because that's what society (and strangers on the internet, apparently) tells you is normal. Of which there are plenty. Doesn't sound healthy to me either and usually, going by the toxicity a relationship like that can have, it isn't. You also seem to imply that perfect partners with whom you can expierence your "normal human growth" with are everywhere, just waiting to get into a relationship with you. I mean, if that's the case for you, good on you. It's just not what basically 90% of other humans experience. Being a healthy, functioning human should not be based on you having a partner. You can still have a loving social environment. Friends and family do exist. So does personal growth without a partner. To say, you can only be at your best with a partner is sad. But exactly this mindset is what perfectly explains why so many people out there feel lonely and worthless. To imply, someone is not mentally sound because they don't *need* a partner 24/7 is a bit disturbing to me.

@@derp_dragons I was considering replying to you, but your complete lack of respect for anything I said and your twisting of my words means you don't deserve it. Try to approach things from a place of understanding instead of personal bias and maybe you'll see what's actually going on in the world around you instead of constantly being stuck so far in the extremes that you don't know what's real anymore.

Parents love their children more than anything else in the world. Parental love involves a stronger dependence than any other kind. In the mind of the parent, the child is idealized, deified. When reality contradicts this perception, they usually choose to ignore it, hoping that something more simple, transient, innocent is going on. Rationalization refers to cases of parents who operate more practically and rationally than emotionally and impulsively. She thought that if she didn't hand over her child before he commit something serius, she would lose him forever. Like other parents they would lose their own children. Even she would lose her life (as he had clearly threatened her before). He made the right decision saving everyone's lives.

Yeah, their delusional, that's a great analysis buddy. So what's the solution; just calling these people crazy even when we exhibit the same habits? Or maybe we can change our society to be more communally oriented; so families that allow their kids to abuse devices are rare. Maybe we can have stay at home moms that raise their kids? Maybe we can encourage people to prioritize others, especially their kids, instead of divorcing and always selfishly doing what's best for them? But nah, let's just keep calling these people 'crazy' and 'psycopaths' and 'irreedeemable' and 'born evil'. That should fix the problem and make us feel self righteous and bubbly inside. What's probably the most bizarre thing about the incels is they tend to target the same sorority house. Elliott Rogers went after the Alpha Phi and so did Brian Kohlberger. At least three of the girls living in that house was pledged to Alpha Phi and two of them were killed. Katherine Cooper and Verionika Weiss was shot outside of the Alpha Phi sorority house even though they were with a different sorority. It was believed that ER thought they were actually with the AP. They got offended that the girls were ignoring them and should date them. These women were the smartest and most beautiful of the sorority sisters and incels think they're 10's and should date them. They probably wouldn't be rejected if they went for just normal girls but it's their narcissism that makes them think they deserve these women.

ER was actually a good looking dude. I used to work in the fashion/model industry in the 90 s, I think I have a good idea. He was an arrogant and spoilt entitled brat, but he had the looks, was well dressed and had style. Yes, ER did target that sorority because it had the "hottest girls". He was obsessed with "hot blonde girls". Maybe some non hot blondes were attracted to him but he didn't pick up on it. Luckily the door was locked at that sorority. He would have cleaned that place out if if wasn't. Remember also, a lot of average and below average women only want the top 5 percent of men. I was rejected many times when I was younger myself because I "didn't earn enough". Maybe men and women just need to stop judging each other so much. Hypergamy and entitlement is out of control.

Looks get you to the door, personality is what allows you to go in. ER had a maybe a good facial structure, but also had a weak build. He also had no confidence and was desperate; women will pick up on that all day. Women will go for more attractive guys, but also average guys have no game. I’ve always been the guy to get chased by women a thanks to my mother’s looks, yet it was my friend with average looks who was a very good womanizer. He had the words and was never afraid to shoot his shot. Dude was average but had a great personality and confidence as if he had nothing to lose. So yes average guys can get women but let’s be honest; most don’t try and if they do they have no clue on how to speak to women. Not to mention that the only pick up line they have is “I just wanted to let you know that you’re beautiful”. Side note, if you were “overlooked” by average women because you didn’t make enough; sorry to say it but that is probably all you had to actually offer. No disrespect. @@ActiveAussie2024

No matter what you look like, or your job situation, or whatever. A good sense of humor helps a lot too. Self-awareness is the first and hugest step and you've already done it; the incel community doesn't realize that they are just compounding the one thing that DOES make them unattractive as partners-- insecurity. Don't waste time and emotional energy on people who don't make you happy. Don't look for your self-worth in others. You gotta get it from within so the source will always be rock solid. how is he a danger to society if he stopped planning what he was doing for the months he was released. To me, I'd give him ten or so years; but to jail him for life is pretty absurd. And their should be no category of "hate crime"; any murder is equally as bad as another murder; just because the killer does it because he hates someone's skin color is completely irrelevant. He also didn't committ a crime and it's dubious to equate planning a crime with attempting a crime. He didn't make an attempt; he just planned it; which should still be illegal and carry a harsh punishment; but it's not the same. It would be pretty unjust to lock up this dude for life; is all I'm saying. Throw him in jail and make a productive man out of him. That's what he needed; a dad and I can empathize with that.

Adrian is polite even when talking about murderers, you can definitely tell when he's disgusted with a murderer. 😂

I can only imagine the lives that could have or would be saved if more people had been like this mom, called the cops just as soon as they saw 1 to many RED FLAG'S! Sadly though way to many of us think if I love them a little more they will change, and we all KNOW THAT'S NOT GONNA HAPPEN!?!?!
