imo a fun way to buff the Stuart into some relevancy would be to make the commander buff properly work on all units even other tanks, make it a true centre piece unit worthy of the side tech

About the 2 mortars. Getting them out gets you chip damage on capping/stationary infantry but rarely gets a lot of kills. It also keeps team weapons at bay throughout the game. The Bishop would pack a bigger punch even if just 1 shot hits but it would also delay you by what, 400-500MP and more critically 80-ish fuel to get out your first archer/crusader. In that regard its a little meh to rush it in the mid game and in the late game its more worth having an additional matilda/crusader/archer to fend off the tiger/infantry pushes. The Bishop isn't bad imo but it's really hard to fit it into a 1v1 build that really works unless the opponent really turtles.

Yeah those are similar to my feelings about it all. The setup mode vet 1 on the mortars feels a bit underwhelming for the effort to use it too.

I think the stuart needs some more changes for it to be appealing, given that you can nearly get 2 humbers for the price of a stuart + tech, and humbers are so powerful.

How would you buff the Stuart to make it useful? It seems like both its accuracy and damage is really bad - usually when I invest in them I bitterly regret it. I've heard that you need light vehicle training to ensure they will actually hit their targets.

Does the Stuart feel like it is getting its value for you? I watched this match and another one you played against StephenF and both times it looked like the Stuart was not really a threat to Dak infantry or tanks and just a late response to their light vehicles (the Flak HT almost killed yours too).

Not really it feels pretty shit. You kind of need it when you play the aussies because you have no snare but it looks like the stuart got shafted in the veterancy changes.

Any reason you're taking so long to get the scopes rifles on the auzzies? Its really not hard to get squad wipes with them in their current state with the marksman ability to boot with scopes lee enfields

It might be he doesn't want to deal with the muni plus micro cost. At least, that is why I don't like using the Aussie infantry. A unit that needs constant usage of an ability to really perform is a PITA.

He showed in the patch notes that the upgrade rifles had a poor DPS curve, but if you ask me - it always seems like its makes them snipe models at a higher rate. Plus they are better against units in cover.

It isn't a strict upgrade. It makes them worse in close quarters and worse firing on the move for a significant munitions investment. So I'm seeing how it feels to play without it.

I believe it used to have an accuracy bonus at vet 2, but that got moved to vet 3 in 1.9.0. Maybe explains why it felt so shit.

aus rifles are useless without the rifle upgrade and he never got them

he actually made a video where he explained that the upgrade is actually a downgrade at close to medium ranges. Not really worth the cost. Better spam the ability
