@michellelowey63198 жыл бұрын
+Nicolas Gralewicz but hurt much? must hAve taking a lot of effort to type that much. Talent is a opinion. U like queen I like coheed. Honestly I think queen is overrated maybe it's because I'm not the biggest fan of his voice. I think Claudio's comics are unique because the band concepts his albums around them and to me there amazing ideas I think the creativity in Claudio is some of the best ever. Yeah they look up to queen I'm sure but to say there not as talented is a opinion that u should go on the bohemian rhapsody video and post. This whole band was self taught watch there documentaries. They also have a series about his book Travis has a comic book and Claudio has three talent isn't just singing and playing guitar it's lyrical and writing is very important.
@michellelowey63198 жыл бұрын
+Nicolas Gralewicz I think Claudio's voice easily trumps queens but again that's a opinion. There is not possible way of proving who is better. Claudio can sing he can do opera and he can scream. Maybe you haven't watched enough of Claudio's work. The man is part God. And get off this page with your hate. I wouldn't go on queens page and say Claudio was more talented. So kindly fuck off you troll.

We are kindred spirits... Listen to these albums... (preferably on a good vinyl setup and all the way through)... You'll be glad you did. Yes - The Yes Album (or the 1st album, or Fragile, or Close to the edge, etc...) Jefferson Airplane - Volunteers (or any of the first few albums) 13th Floor Elevators - Easter Everywhere (or the first album) All Them Witches - Lightning At The Door (or any album) Quicksilver Messenger Service - Just For Love (or Happy Trails, or any album) Grateful Dead - Anthem Of The Sun (or Live Dead) Jimi Hendrix - Electric Ladyland (or Are You Experienced, Axis Bold As Love is good to) Amon Duul II - Tanz Der Lemminge (or Yeti, or Wolf City, or any album) CAN - Ege Bamyasi (or Tago Mago) Radiohead - literally every album they've made (the first one is the "worst" but still ok ) Animal Collective - Literally every album (but Feels, Strawberry Jam, and Merriweather and great places to start) The Mars Volta - Deloused In The Comatorium (or any album) Queens Of The Stone Age - Songs For The Deaf (or any album) Pink Floyd - Piper At The Gates Of Dawn (one of the best psych albums ever, Meddle is also good) Those are some of the classics and if you genuinely like any of those then message me and I've got way more you'll adore and will likely never have heard of (as you've heard of some of these I imagine) Here are just some other names to explore the releases of yourself, most of which should be in the main list but I don't have too much time right now... Guadalquivir (Spanish instrumental prog band from the 70's that should be WAY more popular) Mahavishnu Orchestra (which features John Mclaughlin on guitar and other top level players, super prog) Paco De Lucia (whose is hands down one of the greatest guitarists ever, flamenco player, check out Fantasia Flamenca or Friday Night in San Francisco, with John Mclaughlin and Al Di Meola) Santana Skin Alley Atomic Rooster Its A Beautiful Day Rory Gallagher Freddie King BB King Albert King Battles Lightning Bolt Hella Rahsaan Roland Kirk Coltrane Miles Davis Art Blakey Wayne Shorter Bill Evans Eric Dolphy So again, message me for more as I think you'll genuinely adore all these albums and bands as much as I do and as I said before I have WAY more that I can't recall currently. Also try weed, (and if you've got the higher power then also LSD and DMT) if you haven't already, basically all the classics were made on acid/weed or atleast heavily influenced by the use regular use of these psych drugs (as a songwriter and instrumentalist I can attest to this) God Bless You dude ;)

It didn't need it. Those two records, as well as YOTBR did not need the bluesy sound the Good Apollo albums had. And honestly Coheed said they are a hardcore band anyway in an interview about writing the Afterman so it sounds like they probably are not going to be going back to the super bluesy days anymore. But here's to hoping they rip out this sound again eventually. Last information I saw about new Coheed was Claudio tweeting something along the lines of new Coheed and he was playing with a saxophone. So whether that excites you or not, apparently we're getting jazzy.
