G'day Steve. Interesting finds. Re the buckle. I don't know what it is off however I couldn't but notice that the tongue is on what appears to be the wrong side. If the tongue is iron then it probably isn't that old. Re the 1cent. I seem to often have that locating problem with both the 1 cent and 3 pence of any age. Must have something to do with the size. The tongue may have been forced onto the wrong side as it’s a little bit bent? Not sure that it’s all that old, but still interesting to find! Thanks for watching mate!

Coins are fun to find but relics are even better, in my opinion, especially when it is something that I haven't found before. Bonus points if I need to do some research on it.
