The Canadian 50-cent piece is 80% silver, and has a silver value of £6.50. You could easily sell it for £8 on it's own. The St Christopher pendant dates from the 1970s or 1960s. That's a nice find. The silver alone more than covers the £20 paid for the whole box. The swiss franc is worth one pound. The 1936 penny is worth a few quid in that condition. A total bargain box. 😊

The Maltese coins show a facsimile of the George Cross, awarded to Malta in 1942 by King George VI. Hence St George and the Dragon.

The football clubs came from a set which was issued on the centenary of the FA Cup (although not the winners from the first 10 years or so when it was a mainly amateur competition and was won by such mighty clubs as Old Etonians and Oxford University). These came free with Esso petrol. The date on the other side was the year(s) that the club had won and who they had beaten in the final. I have a set but, being made from cheap metal, they are prone to corrosion

Some decent quality there! It sometimes pays to look up things like that 50 franc coin. I came across a 1958 specimen in about VF/XF, which Numista lists at £76 (low mintage). Sadly your 1952 effort is only worth £2.60 ... sorry about that ;o)

Yes 1960 Canada 50 cents is 80% silver in that condition with silver content here in Canada worth about 12 to 15 dollars depending on the price of silver

Some excellent conditioned coins there. The 1936 penny looked almost uncirculated. Nice few bits of silver with the 1946 shilling and Canadian 50 cents as well as the Christopher Collects charm 😁. Bulls? Cows? Or were you just trying to milk it? 😂. The Football tokens were issued by petrol stations (Esso?) with the main side showing the winning team's name and crest, and the other side showing the clubs they beat and the year. Not a bad selection for £20

The animal on the South African 2 Cent coin is a wildebeest. I believe it is known as a gnu in some places. It was very cool to see that come up! Hi Andrew. JPM International, Ltd. was a British designer and manufacturer of slot machines. They were in pubs form the 1970's. Some paid out jackpots in tokens that you could exchange for items at the bar.

Yeah the Canadian 50p is 80% silver up to 68 dropped back to 50% silver!! Worth about 7.50$, That silver Saint, be praised, it paid for your box today, that pendant is from around 74, 75 my brother got one then new.That 1946 get you a couple of dollars!! The cross on the Maltese coin is the George Cross because Malta won the George Cross in the Second World War. The Maltese cross is a completely different shape and doesn't have George and the Dragon in the middle. The 1970 FA Cup final was contested by Chelsea and Leeds United. The match took place on 11 April 1970 at Wembley Stadium and ended 2-2, making it the first FA Cup final to require a replay since 1912.

Paul, I'm hoping that the Irish 1968 1d. is the chickless variety it appears part of the second chicks body is missing, you'd have to put it side by side with a standard 1d to tell. If so worth £15-20 in that condition. You could also look at Tim's Coins he does a specific video on the 1968 chickless variety.
