I can see Stephen still looks a bit under the weather. I too got covid end of March and still not feeling great. The after fatigue is awful. I’m very impressed he’s back so soon doing the show. Impressed!
@sevenprovinces

And feeling a bit loopy too, you can see it in his opening delivery of today's show. Still too funny, but just something in his delivery seemed different and a touch feverish still. I had that for weeks, probably months after having had covid. Still that kinda weird, feverish feeling, incredibly short of breath and way too easily fatigued for my age. A terrible virus which has grown from massively deadly to massively insidious and capable to still seriously throw your life upside down..
@canoegirl6335

@@sevenprovinces I had exactly the same thought. I think he’s coming back too soon tbh. He must be exhausted after a show. It definitely is an insidious virus. I can’t believe how utterly wiped out I still feel after going out to do simple errands. There’s so much about this virus we don’t know about. Very scary.

I am going to need certifiable proof that you will work as a viable mode of transportation on water, including but limited to whether I can fit inside of, whether you can float on water, and I'ma need proof that you are in fact a female, including but not limited too whether I can fit inside of you... In November 2019, there was an AWFUL illness going around here that felt like the flu from hell and asthma. I caught it, and it was so hard to breathe that, when I finally could, I called my husband at work, knowing damned well he was in the middle of a very important meeting with the heads of the company, just to make him listen to me BREATHE. A few months later, we heard about this thing called Covid, and the first known case was in my area. All the Facebook posts made the previous October and November by people asking WTF everyone was sick from suddenly made sense.

I had something January 2020, which I suspect was related to this, so my doc diagnosed it as influenza. That was the sickest I've felt in years, couldn't breathe well, endless body aches, and it was the first time I've had a fever since I was a kid. Could it have been the 'vid? We dunno.

I had my booster exactly 2 weeks before my daughter caught the Omicron... So I didn't get sick, but I have been mighty exposed to it... Don't know if I have antibodies for it... Could be my immune system was just so much on high alert at that time, so I fought it so quickly it couldn't show up in tests? Anyway, no, it wasn't fun for my daughter either, 4 days with symptoms + 4 days quarantine afterwards. But she's young and strong. So there was never any worry, to her it was indeed "just a bad cold/flu"... But she was grounded, not to pose risk to the public... Thank god for streaming services.

More than likely the vaccine booster prevented the virus spike protein from forming in your body so any virus particles that entered your body weren’t able to keep their replication rate beyond their mortality rate.
@BenjaminVestergaard

@@DoctorProph3t ehm, I'm sorry to bother you, but is that a yes/no/maybe whether I can expect somewhat protection against the Omicrons? Tho I do know a bit of doctors talk, I'm not sure how to interpret this. Edit: I'm just a programmer that's worked with GP software. I know how to schedule vaccines, and I know a bit about side effects and the medicines used... But I don't understand the biology fully.

@@famousgoldentouch can antibody tests see the difference between the different Corona variants already? And as a side note, my wife has now been vaccinated against chicken pox 3 times, those antibody tests keep coming back negative, but neither her or my daughter seems able to get infected, despite exposure. I had it when I was around 8. So, as I said, I may understand much of the logic behind medicine, but I don't understand the biology behind it... Is it possible to simply be immune to that thing without it showing up in tests? ... Never mind, just my mind wandering 🙂 thanks for the answer.

But those joint pains, headaches, muscle pains, random intense fevers and absolutely hilarious levels of confusion and sheer numbmindedness...those sucked!!
