This is probably me overreaching a lot but while that health scare is certainly scary, at least it's on the doctors' radar now. Larry King was a smoker forever and had a heart attack in 1987 and whatever surgery they did kept his heart going for another 35 years. With good money and good doctors, you can, to a certain degree, achieve good health prospects.

Odenkirk and Cranston (and too many of the folks on both shows who stood side by side with them) are just some of the best talents out there. Saul & Kim have something Walt & Jesse didn't. Basic competence. Beside one or two tricks, Breaking Bad was the story of a conflicted man with a mean streak a mile wide _in way over his head._ That's not as fun as a terrified/excited conflicted man who _is the best in the world at something._ In this case, confidence schemes.

Their reactions to the audience seem incredibly off, and the audience reactions all seem even less natural. I regard the lack of any audience shots as the nail in the coffin here, but if that doesn't convince you, oh well, it's not important, carry on with your life.
