Even if they are allowed to vote, they are limited to state and local ballots, but still prohibited from the federal ballot. Also the “Standing Rules of the Senate “ (what the are and are not allowed to do) states that no closed door session pertaining to impeachment could be allowed to proceed without all political parties knowledge that it was happening. But for the former, it depends on the individual. I've been responding to quite a few comments in this and the other video (trump impeachment... kavanaugh), and it's honestly amazing how close minded and misinformed people are. People are actually responding with: Please ignore this guy, as if you're unable to see it already, then words can't convince him. Like really? The new generation is afraid of a conversation? Great. I do think that due to the current presidency, I can no longer really identify myself anywhere close to the left, in terms of policies and the way they seek to achieve them. I'm tired of the character smears, last minute, October surprise styled media frenzy that plays on emotions. While Trump's not great, I think he's necessary, and what America deserves. It really exposes the bias of the media entertainment industry; that CNN used to be a reputable and credible organization. He has also highlight several key issues that were swept under the rug, e.g. border security, trade deficits, etc, other hot topics like healthcare and education none-withstanding. And yes, an open mind is an intelligent one. Hopefully as you get older, you'd get redder. :)

@@nugget7865 I don't think his constant attempts to strong-arm other countries are doing much in the long run for those trade deficits, since he's basically alienating them, though border security is certainly an issue. I don't think that the "wall" is going to do much about it, considering they're already just sawing through it quicker than they can climb over it. Ironically, up here in Canada, we've had to pay more attention to our own borders as well, as there's been an influx of "refugees" from Trump-ville. I'm not a single-issue voter. In Canada's recent election, I read up on each of the party's stances on a list of given topics, and rated them from one to six on each topic, then tallied up each column on a spreadsheet (ended up going for the Green Party). The interesting thing about Canada's politics, is that our "Conservative Party" is much closer to the middle of the spectrum where America's Democratic Party is. Of the six parties, most of them (other than the People's Party, who contrary to the name, is as anti-socialist as it's possible to get) agree on the facts of almost every issue, such as education, preserving and re-foresting nature, needing to do SOMETHING about climate change, etc. Where they diverge most wildly is on the oil pipelines, and what to actually DO about climate change. I found myself giving the Conservative party a few points in some issues I didn't expect where I thought their solution was more practical than my that of my ideal party.

Being from Germany, I always love that. Funniest thing was when a reporter said the same thing about soccer. The winner of the US national league being called World Champions. :D I kind of get it in baseball, football and basketball. The best players on the world compete. It's still wrong to call them World Champions, since teams from other countrys can't join, but ok, ok, you get that one. But soccer? This was insane. Hardly any player would even play in the German Bundesliga in any team, and that's by far not the best league in Europe. "The centre of the world", yet showing the worst democracy there is right now, as you can see now, only two partys, thatfore no political diversity, the vote system that makes votes in smaller states a whole lot more valuable than in larger states, still no health care for everyone, still paying to go to universitys, making health and education based on your social standings, the voting rights in general, gerrymandering,.. the list is way too long. And then you have Republicans, who are completely sacrificing all values of democracy right now. And a narcisist, liar, racist and scammer as a president, who loves Dictators all over the world over his own people, his own agencies and his allies all over the world. America is insane right now. I hope you get to fix this, but I doubt you will. We're been there in Germany.
