People lile yall are objectively cringe. He has and still is factually the number one ranked welterweight in the world (champions are not ranked #1 they are above each respective weight class rankings) and its been more than several years where he has ONLY lost to the champion. There is undeniably nothing to be ashamed of when in almost a decade you are the only man standing between the champ and THE ENTIRE REST OF THE DIVISION. Because he lost to usman twice is the ONLY reason why Leon even got the title fight to begin with. I ain't even his fan but i actually watch the fkin sport unlike any casual fan who parrots woman like vitriol against the objectively best fighter in the division after the champion.

Colby played the game the right way for him. Made a lot of money and gained fame, while barely fighting and keeping his health. Colby’s story is, for me, a sad one. You have a young talented fighter, who’d been having success in the UFC, and despite that, for some reason, wasn’t selling well. He was told his time in the UFC might be coming to an end. We all know the story. But I believe every person comes to this type of a crossroads in life. It’s when your trying to do something, and the universe asks what your prepared to do to rise higher. And in these situations it’s always a “deal with the devil”. One can choose to push on with humility and integrity, accepting that whatever the outcome, it will be the right one - even if it’s one they didn’t necessarily want. Because they hold their character in higher regard than they hold anything else. Or they can choose to become something they’re not, under the illusion that such a thing will further them in the way they want. If the person chooses the way of ‘character’, it may be the harder choice, but it is always the right choice. We need to trust that sometimes the universe knows better what’s best for us, than we ourselves do. And yet, if we choose the other way, the whole ordeal will be what it is; what we’re seeing with Colby’s case. But in the long run, it’s just this very ordeal that will eventually teach a person- Colby, in this case - the most important thing, which is “why” he should have chosen the way of humility to begin with. He abstained from the humble path because he simply did not understand the value in it. But by the end of his journey- having taken the other path- he will have become enlightened as to just exactly what the value of humility is, because he will have lived the consequences of its absence. In this manner, the universe uses our lives to teach us to grow into better people. I wish him all the best. We all have to go through things like this. We cannot judge others, but give them our compassion. Live your videos, and thanks for this one. 😊

The biggest thing Colby wanted to avoid is honestly what's kind of started to happen to him. This is the second time in his career that he's trailing towards that land of non-existence. He's obviously terrified of being ignored, and he's willing to say or do anything possible to avoid it. Attention is the most valuable currency in the world, and some people will do anything to get it.
