I have a Getz as my daily driver to get to work, I drive it pretty "spiritedly" and one day shifting from 1st to 2nd, the accelerator cable hooked up onto the lower bolt on whatever that intake sensor is [I think it's the idle sensor from memory], and it was just stuck wide open throttle. Thank god it's a manual. So I had to make a little metal shield over it attached to the top bolt. Just a heads up.

Well done, happened to me but with a carby, turned the ignition off and it back fired, kicked the throttle plates closed and I changed my Regies.

We are V8 guys Tom. Ute will be back on the track soon. The Chevy SS/VF has had some minor heart surgery - new pistons, rods and crank. The Doctor tells me we are heading for the megawatt if we are good for xmas 😂

Hi I am just wondering did you guys get an ecu tune on the Getz nugget to take advantage of the intake and exhaust mods? If so what did you do? I’m told the stick ecu can’t be tuned is this true? I have a 2006 1.6 petrol manual Getz. Cheers. Tony.

@@angry9901 I reckon you should disconnect the sway bars on your Mums Caprice. Then maybe set the rear shocks up to full hard, fit some of those high pressure and high treadwear tyres you rave on about, set the fronts to full soft and then give us some r&d feedback we can use at the track for our nugget track cars. Sound like a plan?
