Honestly, IMO, that SDR needs a bit of a refresher on email tracking. Lots of software blocks email trackers by default. Openly admitting you're not just using them, but actively referring to them when checking the lead's activity, is a big no-no in my book

The prospect was actually nice and respectful for the majority of the interaction. Even if he was not being truthful about opening the email, I can’t blame him one bit for reacting how he did. The sales rep was more concerned about his pride than making a sale (albeit a low probability)

A lot of these the customers are a-holes, but to call someone out for not looking at an email is a biiiit of a dick move, lol "im not going to cal you out buuuuuut" Bro you literally just called him out haha... Id often say something like... "OK it sounds like you dnt want to progress anything which I totally get and Im not going to push anything but Id love your feedback on our email, someone with your experience could be really valuable when dealing with similar clients, so could I ask what is something we can change or update that would have made you check out our services?
