I was at this concert. Standing right at the front of the stage underneath where Mossy was standing singing. I always stood in this same spot whenever I went to see them.

That would be correct. He used play Jeff Becks “Cause we’ve ended as lovers” in his solo band gigs. And that’s epic. Stunning voice and insane guitar skills.

Georgia On My Mind” became the Georgia state song on April 24, 1979 when Gov. George Busbee signed it into law. The song was written by Hoagy Carmichael and Stuart Gorrell in 1930 and became a major hit with Ray Charles in 1960.

You have to be very brave and very confident about your abilities to sing "Georgia". So many other brilliant singers would have gone before you singing this tune. You don't have to be better than them, but if you want to get within sight of Heaven, you had better be as good as them!
