Everyone always mentions Barnsey and Mossy, while seemingly forgetting that Don Walker (Cold Chisel keyboardist) is one of Australia's greatest songwriters. He wrote more of Cold Chisels hits than the rest of the band combined. This is just a sample of his work.

"Controversial but I think this is my favourite Cold Chisel song". With that statement Dom I think every Aussie Cold Chisel fan cheered in support. I think us Aussie's all have diff fave Chisel songs. For instance I'm a Forever Now, Flame Tree's & Bow River girl. When it comes to Chisel there's no wrong answer on what their best song is & who's fave song is what. We are just so spoilt for choice when it comes to Chisel. I think the best part about Chisel is they aren't defined to one generation. Usually as kids we find everything about our parents uncool even down to their choice of music except for Chisel. Chisel spoke to everyone no matter the age with no generation gap

Like the song says a the beginning "Saturday nights already gone" because you would all meet up at a mates place round 8 ish have some drinks to get primed. Being young not much money it was cheaper to drink at home first. Then call taxi's go to a clubs and it's 11, 11.30 before you even get there. So the nights already gone. Then go for it until closing at 5 am. Then it's "breakfast at sweethearts" . And stagger home. Good times my friend.
