Thanks for the recipe! I used a juicer instead of the nut sack and it worked beautifully, will throw the pulp into some soup. I measured the dry beans, and after throwing away the soaking water, and before juicing, I added water, 2× the volume of beans. Came out exactly like yours, as far as thickness and colour are concerned. It is now cooling down in two rectangular glass containers, and I will have it tomorrow for lunch!

This dish sounds yummy! Can we use the beans fibers for another recipe? Is it like okara from nuts milk?

I just discovered your channel and I can't wait to watch all your videos! This look so tasty! I am so disappointed in the lack of East Asian vegan cuisine cookbooks so your channel is a godsend! :)

I’ve recently started following your channel, you have some great recipes here. Have you got a good vegan recipe for Japanese jiggly cheesecake?

I’ve only been vegan for the last 2 years, and was slowly getting boarded of cooking until I found your channel. Keep up the good work. 😍😍

I'm not sure if anyone else has the same problem, but your videos are always insanely quiet compared to others. I have the speakers and computer all the way up and can barely hear you after having to have them at 50% for the last video. :(

@@EastMeetsKitchen Thank you - my partner and I usually watch a bunch of cooking content together and yours is always significantly more quiet. It could be an issue at this end too but have watched across his PC, mine, and my laptop. But as someone with problematically-sensitive hearing I appreciate the thought put into keeping it at a lower level, as there is other content and are other channels I don't go near because of the soundscape. I will re-try this one with headphones and see how that goes in the meantime. :)

Ahhh sorry - so yesterday I was sitting on the couch near my PC watching videos, and couldn't hear it at full volume, but now I am in front of the PC I can hear it okay at 70%. :/
