The Cold Steel Colossus is a knife that follows in the proud tradition of Lynn Thompson's every day murder weapon style blades. This knife has been designed by Mike Wallace of Wallace Edged Tools, and features a 4 inch blade made from CTS-XHP in a flat grind. This is hands down the most tasteful and finely tuned piece of art these blue eyes have ever gazed upon. Upon the finishing of this brilliance not only was there one lonesome tear in my eye I then proceeded to stand and give a roaring applause that woke the neighbors in the row homes surrounding my abode. Sure it was 3:23 in the am on a Monday but I say fuck em. They know what I’m about when I’m thrashing cardboard from Hershey ice cream pies and tactically cutting branches off there trees that feel the need to intrude upon my parcel of land. You sir are a true American hero, and a true visionary in the sometimes very boring and safe world of cutlery. I really do like it. It's something I could carry outdoors or in the yard- not at work though. They gave me a choice between knives and this was the one that looked the coolest, but also had a blade style I prefer. I like flat grinds, and thin slicy blades like spydercos- and this was the Cold Steels version.

A gargantuan monster and I'm in love. It has joined my Vaquero Grande 6" serrated folder for my EDC. I've only had it a few months and I'm so glad it was on sale. I'm buying another just to giggle like a 5 year old who got his first cool toy for Christmas. Next.... my plan to conquer the world.
