Good food, good tunes, good company (Digger ☺) and another awesome fire. The lasagne made me hungry so I had to go get a snack. Great video, Frank. Thanks for sharing! See you next week!

Hi, Suzanne! Thanks! I like cooking but sometimes while camping it's nice to bring a meal that just needs heating up...especially when it's cold outside, I just want to stay by the fire!

Didn't know you were a budding musician. Keep at it. Wonderful Digger moments all through the video. This was a nice, peaceful way to close out my day. Thanks for sharing Frank!!

Hi, Chris I've had the guitar ages but it just sit's there. I'm hoping that by putting myself out there, I will keep motivated to practice regularly. I really like that Everlong song, I will make that my focus and film again when I've made some progress. Cheers!

Hey, Louis! yeah, great spot and lucky to find a pile of chopped fire logs! Zempire kit is not cheap but they make some good stuff. My fold up coffee table is one of there's.

a bit like my trip into the magic that is guitar and definitely not as good as you. Mine is sitting in the wardrobe collecting dust - one day maybe??? 🤷♂🤦♂😋

@@steve-deltasdad3906 lol, many people have done the same, mate. I hear unless you do 20 mins every day, you won't progress fast enough to keep the interest. Like most things, consistency is key!

Good evening. Great video, thanks for sharing. Just wondering, what lights are those hanging off the front of the tent and inside the tent? I have the same tent and wouldn’t mind getting those lights.
@4X4CA Жыл бұрын
Hi, Theo Glad you liked the vid! Here's a link to the supplier of the lights www.zempire.au/megadome-v2 ...I think I bought mine from BCF I really like them. they give off a nice soft but bright light are quite durable and the charge last's long enough for my use. The only thing I don't like is the raised on/off switch which I've accidentally engaged a couple of times while packed away and drained the battery...so be careful how you pack them 👍

Any chance you could do a tour/overview of your rig and equipment? I know I would get lots of inspiration from it!

@@4X4CA thanks... I want to try and replicate your setup for a week long trip to the Ocala National Forest in my home state of Florida in December... I love everything you have done to your rig!

@@simracing-ai I'll try and get it done next week. Is there anything in particular you'd like to know?
@simracing-ai Жыл бұрын
@@4X4CA Well, a brief tour around your boxes and what your thoughts were on how you set them up, and also pointing out the different equipment you have stored in them would be great (i.e., how you made access to your cookware/utensils easy to reach, etc)...for instance your lights look very bright and I have not found those here, stuff like that would be great to know. Do you use the center part of the truck bed for general storage, or is it dedicated for something...things like that, I know us American's would like to know cause we do not see trucks set up like this, over here they are "camper tops" or popup campers...I like yours cause you can store stuff in the middle of the truck bed and easily access it. If you did anything custom to the rear seating area that would be good to know, too! I think I would go with one of the Australian ground tents (i.e., two man) and store it in the middle part of my bed (2006 HD 2500 GMC)...I guess I'm saying Americans who like to boondock would love to see a detailed setup on your rig so we could duplicate the ideas over here!
