During covid I was bored and watching Noodle videos. So I bought all the noodle stuff and made about ten noodles... I was so proud of myself until I realized that I don't even have a boat.... That was two years ago, but I have a bucket of noodles.... Finally started fishing from the bank from the bank after I invested in catfish rods. Life is good.

Stuck home during Covid and going crazy... I Started watching cat fishing videos with noodles..... Sooooooo I made a bunch of noodles........ I was so proud of my noodles until I realized I didn't even have a boat... LOL Still have the noodles. but I did buy some catfish rods.... I now enjoy Oven Fried Catfish.... Happy ending...

I definitely found out a little bit more about the Bull heads!!! Now don’t get me wrong I have definitely caught a bunch of cat fish over the years!!! I always thought that going cat fishing was definitely my favorite!!! I thought my odds of catching a giant was definitely much higher than catching a big bass!!! Anyways the other day my grandma, grandpa, mom, and dad went camping and decided to take a pontoon boat out and go fishing!!! I was definitely wanting to catch some walleyes !!! As I was fixing my better half’s pole and we was just drifting so I thought it would be good to let my line drift along as I fixed my better half’s line!!! After getting her line all fixed back up I went to real my line in and check!!! Well as I started to reel my line in it just took off like crazy!!! So I new I had something!!! After getting it in it was a Bull head!!! He had swallowed both hooks on the double hooks set up the I was using!!! I went to try and get the hooks out but found that he had swallowed both hooks just as he bit my finger!!! He bit me so hard I couldn’t even believe it!!! He actually tour my finger up pretty good for even how small he was!!! At first I had never new that they could even bite that hard but I’d say that they definitely are the hardest biting catfish out of them all!!! Awesome video buddy!!!

Flathead always better than the others. A 10#'er you can cut in steaks, just cut about 1/2-3/4" thick going the length of the fish. The bones are not an issue cut into steaks. BBQ is good if you keep it from tearing on the grill. Lemon juice and garlic marinaded, sprinkled w white pepper. Keep grill off, lay skin side down then put rack on grill, then drizzle bacon drippings over the fish, let it blaze up and sear the meat, which drying it out by searing makes it less likely to stick, while drying out the bone side that's facing up, which helps prevent it from sticking, where drizzle more drippings. It doesn't take long at all.

kind of late to the party but them bullheads are deliscious! when i was a kid growing up in Iowa it was one of our most prevalent fish and people there loved em..usually fried. however this past summer my friend up in Minnesota smoked them and they were unreal. love the channel hope to see more of you folks now that i found you guys

That looks like some delicious eating. If you haven't, get a can of can biscuits and throw them the oil. Brown on each side. It doesn't take long. It changes the texture, where they are good. I think of jam and jellies or syrup. But this can complement fish too. Maybe not always, but just try it, see its good. Yes go after some flatheads.

Hey folks , love catfishing also . Y’all need to put a piece of pvc pipe in your noodles just in case you catch a big one that will cut the noodles and lose the fish. Pink noodles are easier to find.

I love to watch you two catch catfish. When I was a kid my dad use to take us to a place called the catfish bowl. I love bluegill fishing they are good eating. My husband had a native fish tank and we had a bluegill and grew to be over 10 inches long. If we had caught him a that size it would have been a state record. We caught them for our fish tank.

Jared on outside the levee the other day did some catfish using Louisiana fish fry for air fryer and said it was amazing. I haven’t tried it but it looked great and the fish were nice and crispy. You might want to try it. Love ❤️
