I just wanted to share this little bit of my life in case Cole see this. In live in Croatia/Europe (somewhere near Italy) and in the past few months been having problem fall asleep at night because of panic attacks and anxiety after suffering a almost fatal gun wound. I wanted to thank Cole beavuse when he uploads it is about time for me to go to sleep and his videos makes me smile and relax before sleeping. So thank you Cole and the entire family and friends. Several years ago, I too suffered a gunshot wound to my head. Right between my eyes. I was fortunate that the .22 caliber bullet traveled some distance and that it hit my wall that was covered in ceramic tile. It was a stray bullet. But it still embedded into my forehead. I was lucky it didn’t penetrate into my brain or I’d be dead. But I understand your anxiety. The sound of big or loud noises still startle me. I even lost my voice and had to receive Botox injections to help my vocal cords from spasms. I’m still pro 2nd Amendment. I do own a gun. I have put in for a deer tag. (Didn’t get picked) but try your best to breathe through the panic attacks, have gratitude for surviving such an incident and don’t let it hold you back from reaching your goals. Having pets also helps. My cat would sit on my lap and purr their hearts out. It calmed my nerves. Also, try to sleep with your light on. It’ll help with your night terrors. I had a bad fall two years ago and since then I can somewhat understand what it must be like to suffer ptsd and trauma terrors. Bless you for being so brave and moving on with your life the best way you can. Aren't the Cornstars awesome. They're becoming part of my daily routine. Such hard workers and oh so loving. Cooper, when welding cracks, always drill a hole at the end of the crack before you weld it. It will help prevent the crack from returning.

Helpful hint for Cooper, drill a small hole at the end of the crack. That will stop the crack from continuing. I had a Terra Gator with cracked frame. I kept welding it but the crack would continue. Once I drilled the hole it stopped.

Nave is a good driver - she could be teaching someone who will go unnamed, lol! Nice welding job Cooper! It amazes me how many things you can do so well. Daddy CS is a speed demon - imaging 30+ MPH with that sprayer with "so-so" tires! There is a technical term for throwing scrap metal back to give it another chance to mess you up again Cole - something like "kicking the can down the road". Sounds like Mama Cornstar is feeding you guys pretty well! Good video - love the family interaction.

Hey cole the farm is going to look 1000 times better once you get rid of all that scrap. I might suggest with some of the money your making from the steel right now should look at renting or buying a grapple bucket. When we tore down one of our turkey barns we bought a grapple bucket for our skid loader and it saved me so much time not having to load scrap metal and lumber into the bucket by hand but could just drive up to the pile and separate it and load it all while staying in the machine.

I am obsessed with the organization and cleaning up parts. My OCD perfectionism self is happy with the progress you've made. I still want to climb through the screen and help though. Watching you all work on the equipment makes me want a small farm. I spent my younger years helping on my grandpa's farm and he also owned a construction company building roads. I loved being able to help fix the tractors, bakers, and my favorite the bulldozers. If I was smart I should've gone to school for diesel mechanics or welding. Blessings to the Cornstar family.

Love this video and it reminds me of myself helping hubby get things out of the excavator or dozer blades or helping get the tracks back on. It is never an opportune time nor cost but thank goodness he has always been pretty good at being able to fix things. He and his siblings rather learned by osmosis as their dad was a diesel engine mechanic on the big huge machines and they always went along to "watch" when they were kids..........it all soaks in! LOL Tomorrow we are out with our small excavator to move dirt and dig some holes for landscaping and the like.............so another reason I love watching you all with all the machinery! Seems like I am back home again in So Dak when I'm actually not but my memories are always there! Keep on keeping on. Blessings..............you guys are rocking it......love it!!!

Love that you guys keep it real. Showing the setbacks, the fact that the intended schedule/time table doesn't work out. And that your okay with it. It's so relatable. I also come from a farm and a few years back my family switched to growing different berry species and my brother and mom know the work is never done and tomorrow is a new day to pick up the job you didn't get done the day before. Especially if it's a job without a very hard deadline. My dad has sometimes trouble accepting that, he would like it to be finished before he decides to call it a day. And I love how Cooper said that he wasn't satisfied with his welds and that yeah the next time he would use a higher temp/setting but that he is certain these welds will hold. If he is your chief welder at the farm he can only improve his work and the methods he uses. And very good of DCS that he said that he "green lighted"/liked the work Cooper put in to it. It's so important to show that kind of recognition and acknowledgement to kids. I also love how you all make this channel a family job/activity and seeing what the other family members do on and around the farm and their perspective.

Looks like you are having some nice weather out there. We were 77° here in Central New York State today. 2 days ago it was 28° and 2" of snow on the ground. One trick I do when welding cracks is I drill a small hole at the end of the crack, then weld. The hole takes the stress off the crack to reduce the chance of it coming back. Keep up the good work everyone.

I designed a lot of the original Hagie STS12’s! Great to see a first gen still farming! They had their issues, but we didn’t have much tome to develop and test them before production started. Really good to see my 90’ boom design still in use!
