Man the fights scenes in the bridget jones movies were hilarious. But the one that made me laugh the most was the edge of reason, mostly because of the song playing. To be honest I'd rather watch Darcy and cleaver fight that someone on jersey shore xD

Am I missing something - Hugh Grant has always seemed like an immensely nice guy... it's Colin that seems like he'd be an asshole in real life. Or is that the point, just some cheap click-bait....

Have you ever seen an interview with Hugh? He thinks he is far too intelligent for the acting profession but somehow continued to do the hard work of earning huge amounts of money. He was excellent in About a Boy and it sounds as if he was playing himself.

Hugh Grant is famously very grumpy on set and has stated that most of his leading ladies hated him.

@@katherined800 I always thought he was perfectly typecast but he blew me away with his socar-worthy performance in Florence Foster Jenkins.
@LordAllenby19173 жыл бұрын
@@katherined800 Well I do tend to strongly favor intelligent people (Jodie Foster is another favorite, Tilda Swindon, Cate Blanchett), and I didn't see anything in your comment that would change my statement about Hugh being a good/nice guy.... I know some people get really defensive around 'smart people' however that's just their own insecurity...
@LordAllenby19173 жыл бұрын
@@wizenedcrone That doesn't really change my statement at all, I mean, I'd be pretty grumpy on set too. Think about it, you are a smart, genuninly nice guy - stuck on a set with shouting, idiots, morons, and lead ladies whom are all mad as can be... the only people who wouldn't be grumpy in an environment like that is a) someone who is even a bigger arse than the many around them, or b) an idiot I very much stand by my statement re Hugh, being grumpy on set confirms rather that he is a nice guy (just like Sir Ian McKellen on set - its all a lot to deal with if at heart you are just a really nice guy - it's not an environment where a nice guy would feel comfortable or at home - of course you'd feel put out and grumpy.
