Daniels is almost like gumby. I've seen him leave CB's behind, take hits, get up and keep going. Time will tell, but I just think Daniels is better.

Why on Earth would the Patriots trade out of number three and pass on potentially drafting a young quarterback with franchise quarterback upside for more picks when they already traded away Mac Jones? You would think trading away Mac Jones would be a sign they are drafting a quarterback. Trading out of the number three and passing on a potential franchise quarterback when that is a position of need is just a bad move. Next year, there may not be any quarterback available who has a franchise quarterback ceiling. Two or three years from now, the Patriots may be a middle-of-the-road team that drafts around pick 15, which is clearly out of range to move up into the top two or three picks in the draft. That would mean the Patriots would have to rely on a lesser quarterback in the draft, whose ceiling is that of a league-average quarterback, or roll the dice in free agency and try to sign the best available free-agent quarterback. If you have the opportunity to draft a quarterback whose ceiling is that of a franchise quarterback, you take it. You never know when you will ever get that opportunity again.
