My three sons tell me doing one arm pull-ups when you’re over 6 feet with long legs.. is almost impossible.. And we all want you to know we are so proud of you for your perseverance and resilience in getting the job done.💪 We think you’re an amazing guy who makes the best videos ever.. keep going Colin❣️ Jen999💜💙

thank you for this. it meant a lot that you shared the tough couple months you went through. i relate to that so much… one of my goals is to be able to handstand. someday crow to handstand but start a bit easier… i trained diligently for several months. then it all slipped away. i lost muscle and was not taking care of myself. its scary how powerful your thoughts can be. i am to the point where i am getting back into it. i get hard on myself because i should be farther along than i am. where i want to be at least. anyway thank you again for sharing the reality of learning something as hard as a one arm pull up. maybe might add it to my calisthenic goal list too. im grateful i found your channel and i hope you have a great day too 🌻

Thank you so much for the comment. I totally relate and it is scary how our brains can take off on their own. It can be hard to stay positive and it turns into a runaway train. What really helps is using you non pulling hands pinky finger to wrap around the bar as a little support and if you could do 10 reps like this, you can do a rep of one-arm pullup.
@abhirupkundu27785 ай бұрын
There is no counting of how many reps of something you can do to achieve something. Its just a rumor and works differently for everyone depending on their muscle proportion and weight distribution. For me, my maximum muscle proportion is on my arms and shoulders, and most of the extra weight is around the abdomen, which makes it harder to pull myself, but easier to push.

I was able to do a one arm pull up. I will add that the exercise is very taxing to my elbow. So much that it compromise my bench press strength and vice versa, if my arm are sore from weight lifting, I can't do a one arm pull up. So i think one should be fully recovered before even trying.
