the bottom of the salmon was the skin, its edible (gets crispy when you pan fry). Better to make your salmon on the frying pan, oil, with the skin down first, and flip after 3ish minutes. And baste with butter at the end. Comes out really good, really quick (6-8 mins) and insanely good

Just one week is not enough because first 3 to 4 days you will feel weak because your body so used to use only carb to make glucose, but after one week you will feel normal and no lack of energy, actually more energetic than before because your body start burning fat instead of carb so if you wanna know how carnivore diet works for you, you need to do it at least more than a month.

A few things to note -carnivore diet includes all food that comes from animals - such as red meat, poultry, fish, dairy, eggs, and honey. -there's no reason for food to be bland on the carnivore diet. you can use salt, pepper, spices, and herbs, as well as butter, heavy cream, and cheese. -the keto diet is not about eating lots of protein, it's about eating lots of fat and very few carbs. You need to be eating around 70% fat, 25% protein, and 5% carbs to go into ketosis. -the carnivore diet is not the same as the keto diet. on the carnivore diet, you will not go into ketosis unless you are eating a lot of fat (eating fatty meat, eggs, and cheese) and no carbs (avoiding milk, yoghurt, and honey). -the keto diet allows for plant foods - such as berries, avocados, most vegetables, some nuts, and olive oil. it has some overlap with the carnivore diet but is quite different.

One trick is if you load protein past what your body needs or can process, ( especially with low fat…which is a bad idea!) it will turn it into glucose and you are back in the carbs cycle!!🤣 So, the idea of eating as much meat as possible not having a carb like effect is only going to work for a select few… High fat,( animal based) and mid protein works for me best, but in the “carnivore” framework.

Most people go “carnivore” to dodge oxcilates, so a lot of spices are a no go. Coconut based sauce stuff is ok, and white pepper is also low in oxcilates, so, you don’t have to go Spartan, unless tgst is your asthetic.

I am plant-based but I like cooking and experimenting. I see how one could make great dishes with just salt, meat, butter, eggs. Pastoralists have done so. They invented the hamburger. I have a cat and he is fed a meat-heavy diet. But Colin, I am not being mean So please do not take this the wrong way. You do not know how to cook well and you should take cooking classes. Also, buy silverware. Please don't be offended. I am just giving life advice. Good luck. Nice video overall. You are an inspiration. You think liver is a rare meat but it is not. I ate lots growing up. Also, you never buttered up the foods. You barely ate any eggs it seems. You didn't even try eating fish or sea food for the most part. I think the carnivore diet is not So terrible but only if somebody is desperate to lose weight. My plant-based diet is so on point, i never gain weight. However it does deprive you of protein, which I make up for by eating nuts and creatine. Good video, again

For carnivore, remember that it's not a religion. You have to find what works for you, and no one has the right to tell you you're doing it wrong. That said, a few principles should be taken into consideration (but again, not hand and fast rules): 1. You want to focus on protein from ruminants (e.g., cow, bison, goat, sheep, deer, elk, etc.). These are the healthiest, most nutritious meats. But yes, you can also eat pork, fish, and poultry. It's ideal that all your meats be organic, pasture-raised, wild caught, etc., but it's not required. Do the best you can within your budget. 2. Make sure you focus on the fats as well as the proteins. You want a good ratio. But if you start to experience discomfort and side-effects like diarrhea, then back off of the fat until you find _your_ body's ideal balance. (Some people cannot tolerate rendered fat at all and do best consuming a bit of the raw whole fat before trimming off the rest and cooking just the meat.) 3. You don't _have_ to eat organ meats. The muscle meats and fats of ruminants contain all the essential amino acids, fatty acids, and vitamins the human body needs. Also, considering ratios, organ meats were never the main staple of any diet, the muscle meat was. 4. Salt your food to taste. The carnivore diet is a diuretic diet, meaning you will expell excess, retained fluid. With that fluid goes electrolytes. Your body is adept at balancing salt-levels, so listen to your body and supplement when needed. 5. Give your body time to adapt. Any time you change up your eating habits, your body is going to respond (and sometime it won't be nice about it). The general recommendation (especially if using carnivore to treat a chronic and/or metabolic condition) is to give your body anywhere between 30-60 days on the diet to begin to see the fuller effects and benefits. I am not a doctor, so none of this is medical advice. And again, it's just a diet, not a religion, so listen to your body and adjust as you go.

One thing I learned from the experience of doing my own research on nutrition is that your physician probably knows less about nutrition than you do. All of these supposed "risks" of the carnivore diet like what he mentions are false. Meat is actually the most nutritious form of food that there is because not only does it have MORE nutrients, but the absorption rate is vastly superior. Heart disease risk is not affected by meat at all because not only is saturated fat completely safe to eat even in higher quantities, but dietary cholesterol does not affect your overall cholesterol AT ALL. THIS WAS KNOWN IN THE 1960S!!!
