Collarbone Rehab - What I Do After The Crash

Hey guys! This topic was definitely not planned before a couple of weeks. But after I broke my collarbone during a trining ride in St. Moritz I thought it might be a good idea and helpful for some of you out there to show how I handle the situation. The first video is about the work with my physiotherapist Gregor.

Könntest du vielleicht auch einen Kanal auf deutsch machen für Leute wie mich die nicht so gut englisch können es gibt zwar nix was ich nicht verstehe aber manche sachen sind schwer zu verstehen für mich weil ich erst 13 bin

Dear Sebastian. I must suggest to you your therapist is doing far more than the surgeon. Your scar probably the worst I’ve ever seen, particularly on a healthy young man. I would suggest you seek another surgeon when it comes time to removing the plate should you wish to go down that path. I would attest with a much better scar, you would likely have not required the skin manipulation you did. I can say this from personal experience and have your best interests only in mind. I know it feels good to have the stability returned and it’s easy to be happy with that but the closing of the reduction procedure is just as important as your therapist and you have realised. This message may be all too late but I’m on the same position and can see assume some aspects of your situation compared to my injury which was fairly high energy impact. So yours should have been as successful but appears to mess of scarring. Perhaps you have keloid issues but in summary, that can be improved when removed. Merry Christmas to the two of you.
