Hi Tammy, You have to lick the beaters, bowl, and the spoon. Most of all the fingers. I did that every time my momma made cakes and fudge.. And yes, I miss my momma so much. I was answering your questions, and my husband asked who I was talking to. See I feel like I'm right there cooking with you. Have a bless day, love ya 🤗

Now I have one more cook who really cooks until the cooking is done. I hope you do more Saturday cooking while Chris fishes. Living alone, especially around the holidays isn’t always merry and bright, but today certainly was! It just occurred to me that this may not have been a Saturday video-and the lemon curd was a much needed bonus. ❤️

Hello from Virginia everybody. I would love to be there sitting at the table watching you cook or I would be your sous-chef. I just went to the store yesterday and found my chicken breast with the skin on it which is always hard to find everything is always skinless, for your chicken and dumplings these are the only dumplings I will ever make, and this year for Christmas we will be serving them. I love your energy and you are a great teacher.

Girl, you are going to get this Southern SC girl making biscuits....I've never done it but honestly, I'm determined to start. And you're speaking my language....I got up this morning and made my sweet potato souffle and went ahead and put chopped pecans on top and baked it a little bit and made dressing with cornbread and a few toasted slices of beautiful thick multi grain bread. I also cooked it a little, cooled them and put them in my little freezer. I miss my tall upright one so much. Congratulations on your new one Tammy.. you deserve all the good conveniences the way you cook like three women....😂. Blackberry is my absolute favorite...I'm going to make biscuits and report back if they turn out.... Happy Thanksgiving to you and safe travels everywhere y'all are going. 🤗❤️🦃

I just love that Swaggerty sausage, it has the best flavor and satisfying, not overly greasy like some other brands, well worth the price. I recommend it to anyone, and the White Lily flour is great for making gravy, thanks for the tips on these 2 products Tammy, y'all have a great time with your families 😊😊😊😊😊, and I'm glad some people still refer to dressing as 'dressing', not 'stuffing'!
@joycebland82593 жыл бұрын
Dressing when where I grew up always had cornbread and biscuits and cooked in pan. Stuffing was made with toast and or croutons and stuffed inside turkey. With 9 people in house momma had to cook in pan to feed us all. Then she made giblets gravy to pour over dressing. Yum yum so good. 😋

Omg Ms. Tammi if you’re home was a B&B I’d be making reservations just to eat some of your good looking food. Many of your meals are just like my Grandma and her Sister. My Grandma left this world in 1982, I was 12 years old. I’m 50 and I remember plenty of her recipes because I stayed right by her side when she cooked. My Momma is often amazed at the recipes I make just from memory. I’ve been writing them down for some of my relatives. This City girl is so country at heart.

Tammy, my mother, lived through the depression, she didn't talk about her childhood or personal things. One day, when I was a young adult, I visited, and she said she had made a pot of green beans and potatoes...I listened, I didn't know what the dish was, she had never made them my whole childhood. She said during the depression they had a farm, and all they had was green beans and potatoes, so that is what they lived on...but she said it was so much more than the people around them had. She said that she never cooked them after that, but that day, she 'had a taste for them.' Tammy, that dinner was melt in your mouth, and I can't see a recipe for it without thinking about her story. She's been gone a long time and was born 99 years ago. Thank you for this recipe!
