Hi Tammy & Chris! Thank you for sharing these recipes; I'm definitely going to make the mini oreo cheesecakes. 💖 Also, if that apron is from Apron Diva, I have that same apron! I love those aprons -- very good quality.

I got the cordless Kitchenaid hand mixer for Christmas 2 yrs ago and I love it. I turned mine on just now and the low setting goes pretty slow. I think you will use one alot because they are just so easy to grab and mix with.

I love the Tasty mixer. It's nice to have something that doesn't sling stuff all over the kitchen. It is definitely the best mixer. Also, I have a Kitchenaid stand mixer and I've decided that when it dies I'm not going to replace it. It's so heavy and cumbersome. I'm always worried I'm going to drop it on my foot.

I agree about mixers etc. Nothing is made like it used to be. I know why. Lol. We have my mom’s big Kitchen Aid mixer that’s barely been used. I have made chocolate chip cookies since I was a young girl in the 70s and 80s using a regular hand mixer and a big spoon. My 3 brothers would eat so many I would triple the batch sometimes. Lol Daddy didn’t care a lot for chocolate so mom and I decided to take a little of the batch of cookie dough and put raisins in it for him. He loved them. We sure adored our sweet Daddy. ❤ Your cookies look delicious.🍪🥰

Tammy! I was just thinking the other day that I haven't seen you make cookies, and here you are! lol. I was taking some comfort in hopes that you, like me, find cookies take way too much time and patience. But as always, you make things look so easy ♥ Patty

My Granny's chocolate chip cookies always spread out a lot. She may have used Crisco. I use the exact same recipe you did in the video for years and years and they never spread out until this year and WHAM-O! Granny's cookies! I don't know what changed and I bet it won't happen again. I have a Kitchen-Aid I got about 1993 and it's been trouble-free except I had to replace the paddle because the white finish was coming off it. I also have two bowls--glass and stainless--and that helps a lot. I store mine on the counter and only pull it out a few inches to use it. No carrying required.

Woman you must have been born in the kitchen ❤ If I stayed at your house for long, none of my clothes would fit lol. Like you I use a lot of butter in my baking and cooking. It's been proven that butter has the omega fats our bodies need but the seed and veg oils are bad for us. I use ghee, butter, lard and on occasion a little coconut oil. Fruit cake is one of my favorite if not the favorite cake but not the store bought ones. I watched your video on making fruit cakes and I know it had to be delicious . After the holidays when the candied fruit goes on sale I'm going to use your recipe cut down to a third and make one just for myself, my son hates fruit cake but he's only had the store bought.

Was the bourbon vanilla good in chocolate chip cookies. Seems like it would taste better in cakes! When my cookies cooked on parchment paper get ready, I slide the entire sheet onto the counter top to stop the cooking process. Especially when overcooked.

✍Hello Tammy, Chris, and fur babies 🐾🐾🐾 It's so good to see you guys tonight. Tammy you're looking really pretty. Hope you'll be making some New Year party foods to share with us. Back in the '50s I got a recipe for chocolate chip cookies that we got the recipe in our Home Economics class that I've used for years and I've always used "LandOLakes" margarine but I've also used Crisco cause my mom wouldn't buy butter. Enjoyed the video tonight. Tammy and Chris thank you for the beautiful Christmas Card. Wishing You and all of your family a Merry Christmas🎄 and a Very Happy and Blessed New Year🎉🍷🍷🎉 2025 God Bless LuvYa! Bye from NE Ohio
