that fear exists with every mechanical watch regardless it is Chinese or Swiss, I've been wearing mine regularly for months and up today I just have to correct the time one a week for running fast a minute or so... that's pretty good actually, when winding everything feels sturdy like the first time. give one a try! I know you'll like it

Hi. I have two parnis watch for about two and a half year. No problems at all. I would recommend the 6497 and 6498 movements. Great watch for that price!! :)

maybe a bit late.. but I bought a Parnis watch around 5 months ago, with manual 6497 Seagull movement, the same Ferdi showed here with green numerals and it works fantastic, very accurate and reliable movement, NO problems at all
