Hi! From my point of view Kroxigor looks like better than Unchanneled fury Big guys. On dungeon ball you will start far from each other so no Blitz to move your Minotaure and you will probably never move him to the fight or you bring him later on the game but with a good chance to teleport somewhere in the same situation with nobody around. On the other hand Kroxigor can start moving with a dude side to him and can well stop on a 2 squares corridor with his tail to stop bloody dodger to pass him. Maybe Rat Ogre can do the job too but i'm not cool about starting loosing dudes from the beggining with only 6 players at the start ^^ For me it's gonna be more: 6x Beast men ; 1x Khorngor ; 1x Werewolf ; 2x Chaos chosen ; 1x Kroxigor and 2 reroll all for 995k

Ugh, I can't get my hands on this until Christmas so I'll be living vicariously through the Bonehead Podcast for my Dungeon Bowl content. When I find the right alternates for a Kroxigor I might buy the Chaos blitz bowl team for my linemen. That way I'll be ready to brew up some Beast fun.

Ooooh... Maybe down the road! I'd prefer to do some testing with DB teams and 11s teams playing versus each other in *both* game modes first! 😁 But some of these DB teams could ball out on a full pitch!

6 Beastmen, 2 Pestigors, 1 Kroxigor, 2 Werewolves and 2 Re-Rolls for me. Werewolfs with their speed must be amazing in DungeonBowl and the Krox with its Prehensile Tail should be great for blocking corridors. Might already be a bit Blitz-reliant with 8 players with horns, but at least none of the Big Guys that need Blitz or Block to get activated, which would be tough in DB.

I'm looking at something similar to your first roster there: 6 beastmen, 2 khorngors, 2 werewolves, 1 blocker, 3 RR. =1000 exactly if I'm not mistaken. And should be a lot of fun-geonbowl.

Most of my beast rosters are close to yours. Life was the one that caught me - largely for theme/conversion potential 1) wood spites - dryads, spites and wild hunts men ... 2 w dancers, 4 bloaters, 6 snotlings, fungus finger, 3 re-rolls 2) nurgle ... sub various nurglings for snots.. rotspawn, 4 bloaters, 2 pestigor, 2 rotters, 2 fun hoppers, 2 snots, 2 re-rolls 3) tree huggers Inc... 2 w dancers, thrower, treeman, 2 halfling catchers, 2 hefties, 5 halflings, 3 re-rolls. There is a 4th idea but still playing with the list on that

I am totally with you there!! Life is *the* hobby dream team! Nurglings as Snots and all kinds of craziness! Plus the operational consistency of Two Wardancers in almost every build haha! Love it!! 😁

For College of Beasts I may go: 6 Beastmen, 2 Khorngors, 2 CC Blockers and 1 Minotaur (11 players). With 3 re-rerolls , that's 1 mill. (MaxPunch)

I'd have to go full beastmen roster I think with no werewolves, though it breaks my heart. Also I might use bigger beastmen models to proxy for Chosen and that would make it ok. ;) On a different note I wonder if they include any Dungeon Bowl erratas in the normal FAQ. Isn't the next one due this month? GW only have tomorrow to issue it now, maybe before the new year now?

Not sure about my roster, am considering a Pestigor, Khorngor and Bloodspawn then going from there. I’m mostly interested in taking as many player types in than picking an effective roster. 😂 *edit* For 990 I can take 6 Beastmen, 1 Werewolf, 1 Pestigor, 1 Khorngor, 1 Chosen Blocker, a Bloodspawn and 2 re-rolls

25 years of hobbying and playing lizardmen in warhammer and blood bowl and only now I get the term "Kroxigor" with "Gor" being part of GWs beastmen naming. Funny though as they're basically the opposite of Chaos.

I was trying to avoid it but the first roster I brewed was Fire. 2 Dwarf Lineman, 4 Gnoblars, 2 Marauders, 2 Dwarf Runners, 1 Troll Slayer, 2 Orge Blockers and 3 RR. I Like having a tool box team that can fill a few different roles as the situation calls for it. Need to gum up a hallway or room, Gnoblars and Dwarf Lineman. Need to get up and over a few players, Gnoblars and Orges. Need a little bit of speed, Dwarf runner, Marauder and Gnoblars. Gotta take out that big guy, Slayer and backup. I sorta feel bad cause I wanted to avoid once again taking Dwarfs but this looked too good. Now if you will excuse me I'm off to look at the Collage of Life and fight my better judgement, maybe Collage of Heavens.

That's a great roster! The College of Fire has got such a great mix of players - you're right; they'll have a toolbox solution to most things!! College of Life basically has Nurglings 😁😂

@@BoneheadPodcast Yeah I was looking at Life and was lost in the modeling options, think I'll go with a corrupted natural look to really drive the Nurgling theme home. Like the idea of a diseased looking wood elf, but I know that's my inner dwarf talking.

@@Muzzagutz been pondering on the College of Life myself. Can't find a single build I enjoy since with Snotlings can just spam some cheap lil dudes and then strong positional for everything else. Isn't like Snotlings are bad given they can sneak through the dungeon super easily and past others. Though for my build more going on the Snotlings love of growing shrooms and using Myconids and Root Bulettes for my Nurgle side with Dryads with maybe some shrooms on them as my wood elves. But your team does look super solid overall. Dwarves with reliable Big Guys is glorious.

Slayers and blitzers will be more important than runners

Runners come with in built pick up the ball rerolls, are faster then both blitzers and slayer in terms of movement (so getting teleported onto the wrong side of the dungeon is less a worry for them) and they still have thick skull and high AV so just as hard to remove. If you think I need more bash, again I don't think so and it wasn't the point of the build. I believe the roster I have will be more then enough to suit MY play style, its more flexible. If I wanted a straight bash team I'd be running Metal or Beasts.

From a fluff point of view not sure about Chaos Chosen Blockers on this roster. Surely its got to be the 1x Minotaur, 2x Werewolves, 8 Beastmen and 2 re-rolls build (with flex for Pestigors/Khorngors/Rat Ogre) - otherwise it just ain't Beasts.

I have to agree I couldn't see why Chosen were even in the list myself. However you could use proxy figures that are just brawnier Beastmen mini's to represent Chosen and say they are "Chosen Beastmen" that would work ok I guess.

For this team, I'd prefer rat ogre or kroxigor rather than minotaure/bloodspawn for the prehensile tail trait. They'll be able to completely close a corridor by themselves if facing a stunty team.

With all this DB news, I think WIP wedsnesday Is going to be even more interesting. Talking of DB teams: Correct me if Im wrong. It´s not "meta" trying to make DB teams with 16, 15 or may be 14 players? Without the limitation of 11 players in game I think it was the "meta". Or, may be I should first read the new DB rule book... Any way, Kroxigor looks to be an excelent teleporter defender, safer than the treemens. Imagine a teleporter in the middle of a 2x6 corridor, a normal situation in a dungeon, there are only one square free to cross the corridor. In that situation, a Kroxi o a Tree in that square is a tactic. I like the Treemens in DB, they are strong and firm Teleporters defenders. If they don´t take roots in the first turn!.
