I'm a forager of chaga and reishi. I've used chaga for a few years but was hesitant with reishi. I don't know why but figured I should give it a try if I was going to sell it to others. I'd heard it helped with sleep and promoted a deeper more restfull sleep. Long story short, it does. I'm normally a light sleeper and generally don't sleep more than 6-7 hours. With a little reishi hours before bed time I'll sleep 9-10 hours and feel as though I could sleep more! I haven't tried yet but kind of have to make myself get up. I've also used it topically on my scalp for baldness and have fine hair comeing in. About three months now. The scalp mixture is reishi with two other ingrediants. I'd heard topical use wouldn't work for hair restoration but I was only using the dual extract for my sleep experiment 4-5 times a week when I noticed the fine hair coming in. I increased the frequency of both ( topically and ingesting) and have began taking it in the morning as well. 4-5 Droppers twice a day of wild reishi dual extract and the hair tonic every morning after water only scalp wash.

I started a regimen which included mushrooms and the lump in my breast disappeared which I had for years and had to watch every 6 months. I researched and found a prof at the university talking about the anti-cancer properties. I gave some to my sister who had breast cancer and told her to check with her oncologist and his reply was “I take those myself .”

I've not seen one person use Pslicoyilinn mushrooms to aide with benzodiazepines withdrawal. I have seen other's use various aides Amanita Dreamer talks about this. There are 80,000 people in the benzo groups. Nobody as had success that way. Jordan peterson tried it he also tried ket . If it was that simple Mathew Perry and a whole host of others who fell victim to benzodiazepines would of discovered this method. Didn't work for Eminem maybe read up on their stories. Benzodiazepines withdrawal requires a long slow taper. There are a few who used a certain mushroom to help. But never Maggie that's aimed towards antidepressants.

These mushrooms have anti-inflammatory properties but to what degree? And would it be safe to go on these mushroom products? Fantastic! Thank you both. Also, Hania may be Polish or of Polish parents? Her last name is Opieński and isn’t it hilarious that the name of one of mushrooms in Polish is Opieńki ?:) 59:54 not virus but parasites

Hey Hania: has there been any studies done using mushrooms for Long Covid? I’ve had Long Covid for over three years, the main and debilitating symptoms are chronic fatigue and shortness of breath, plus POTS.

20% of my lungs go damaged during COVID. Felt shortness of breath during workout. After taking Reishi for last 6 months and cordyceps for last 1 month my lungs seem to have recovered significantly and feel full of energy through our the day. You may like to start taking high dosage of Reishi extract ( 5-8gms) per day and see the results for yourself. Happy Healing 😊

Mine come mixed in with greens. Seems like there's some benefit but I'm not anymore sure about it than I am green tea with matcha. *No.. Marc does not have cancer. Not yet anyway. Who knows what the next day will bring? I usually look at it like an actuary. Categories of percentages..

Someone told me medicinal mushrooms are only effective if cooked so don't bother buying powders or blends. Is this true? Great podcast. Thank you

Not true , I buy the powder from my Chinese acupuncture clinic and I add a spoon to hot water and this is good enough to activate all the medicinal compounds. I take turkey tail to fight my cancer and I also take lion mane for memory and brain fog both of these mushrooms are miraculous
