Star-Lord acting out of emotion with Tony being the one to keep his cool is a great juxtaposition to the moment in Civil War when Tony finds out the Winter Soldier killed his parents and acts out of emotion. one of the shots that stuck out to me most is the single shot long take of Tony exiting the Sanctum onto the city sidewalks.

I think there was a depiction of Beta Ray Bill's face on that giant monument tower on Sakaar in Thor: Ragnarok. I can only assume that he's been on Sakaar at some point and dominated the contest of champions. And since it's been well established that no one has ever escaped Sakaar, this probably means he had already perished prior to the events of Rahnarok. I hope I'm wrong, though. *Damaged Heroes* I like the Ant Man and Wasp idea. Captain Marvel is supposed to take place in the 1990s which is also where she presumably flies off into space, and I'd think Captain Marvel's end credit scene would be dedicated to Avengers 4. Then Rogers himself advises Banner on not "waiting too long" and to basically go after her. Pretty sure Rogers wouldn't do a 180 and screw Banner like that later. So I'm with Amy and Schnepp on this one - see no indication that Rogers and Romanoff are together.

I just think that the directors give everybody their moments personally and with their powers. With Spider-Man I just believe that you feel the full effect and he's only 15 years old. It hits you and makes you think. I didn't think about this until after the movie after I had to calm down

James Hawkins dude no lie thats what i thought it was too cause you have that scene with mantis saying something is happening so i asesed that to her like sense of her surroundings but then the moment i hear Spiderman say mr stark i don't feel so good i was like oh damn his senses must be going berserk on him damn hes gonna feel every second an in way he does cause with every one else it just kinda happened but with him you didn't just see emotional pain but physical pain as well he could even hold himself up unlike everyone else i figured thats gotta be that spider sense so yeah man totally agree with you

One of the things that truly WOWed me in the movie is that despite being so huge, they managed to give great arcs to some characters. Hell, even Cap who has little screentime in the movie, gets a subtle storyline about sacrifice. He says - "We don't trade lives", but he sounds unsure when he says that. And you can see him clearly contemplating sacrificing Vision when he brings that out. And in the end, he stands on top of Vision's body probably thinking - "If I did sacrifice him before, this wouldn't have happened". These kinds of stuff is just showcase of great writing and directing.

I’ve been watching a bunch of these infinity war reviews and this one is definitely one of the best I’ve seen by far. Love that you all allow each other to speak and express your opinions without dominating or overriding the discussion. Collider reviews seem to be very underrated. Should have far more views.

there is a part of that wanted Quil on earth, he hasn't been there since Yando picked him up. I really think that it would have been another emotional layer to him, or like see him visit his moms grave or meeting his grandfather, it wouldn't have worked in this movie but... would have been interesting to see in a future film, imo

I’m going bold. With Gunn saying the guardians as we know it are gonna be different after Gotg 3. I think that’ll be a swan song for the original group (with or without Gamora..idk, but I think she’s permanently dead). Peter will come to earth by end of film while rocket and Groot continue in space (maybe with Thor?). Still don’t know what happens to Drax

This is such a great idea but it would of grinder the film to halt and they wouldn't have time for it sounds like somthing to explore in guardians.

Keyser Soeze sometimes studios cram moments like that to create semblance of romance for when people bring dates. It sounds crazy, but I've heard and read about it so if they can find a way to put it in they will to entertain people who like that. Happened in this movie with Quill & Gamora except it worked great as a character development for what eventually happens. The only Marvel movies that don't have it might be guardians 1 & 2 and Spiderman, Avengers 1 & 2, and Thor 3. Black Panther, Dr. Strange, Iron Man 1 to 3, Ant-Man, Captain America 1-3, Thor 1-2 and Incredible Hulk which is canon has a moment of romance thrown in.

Amy, great call on the contrast of Thanos with 'We dont trade lives' I love that scene, because there is so much understated power in the response to 'one life cannot stand in the way of millions' of 'but it should' - both in terms of 'we dont trade lives', but also, 'I, and we, choose to be the one life who stands in the way to protect millions'

Y’all are crazy and looking too deep into the Cap and Nat relationship. Falcon simply said it was awkward because hulk and nat WERE a thing. And now they meet again for the first time in ages. Not because Cap is trying to get with black widow. Cap would never and is not that kind of person. His love is Sharon which they already established in civil war. There was not one scene implying Cap and Nat we’re together.
@shi59576 жыл бұрын
Well the thing is kissing a girl once doesn't establish a relationship.and they actually replaced Sharon with Nat from the time of CATWS as Scarlett has better chemistry with Chris.Also SteveNat relationship is also like the comic version of Steve Sharon minus the romance.Also they have been developing the relationship.In Infinitywar prequel novel Captain America part was written in Natasha pov.It was clear her feelings went deep for him.So yeah after developing the relationship for 5 movies they can go there.
@anitelufalemei42006 жыл бұрын
Shiropa Das the thing is they never established this relationship in the movies. It was always a close friendship not love. They even kiss in winter soldier and it gets brushed off as if 2 friends just kissed. Sure it was under certain circumstances but nevertheless there was no spark!
@panthergod6 жыл бұрын
Siotame Palu yeah.. Cap is definitely fucking Nat.. Only natural.
@shi59576 жыл бұрын
Well it depends on person to person to see the spark.The only friends equation has actually changed over the years. Specially the events of Civil War played into it.The novel is actually canon with movies.Not all relationships have to go through the same sense.specially its Cap.Moving on from Peggy.If they had gone for Bucky route that I can understand.But marvel's homophobia comes in the way.Writers of TWS wanted to make SteveNat romantic.But felt it would be rushed for both characters.Same writers came back for CW and Infinitywar and now they are teasing it for A4.If its just friendship then they wouldn't have as there is nothing more to explore.As for building up,you might remember in CW there was a brief shot on Nat noticing Steve Sharon and she wasn't exactly pleased.Same goes for Bruce reunion scene.Apart from Sam's comment there was no need to put Steve in the same frame.Steve isn't petty,doesn't show burning jealousy but its not the same happy face like seeing Rhody.and finally the actors interviews stated even Sam left Steve in these 2 years but Nat stuck around with him.Which seemed odd but as the novel made it cleat that Nat is in different mind frame now and would not leave his side.The just friendship equation has changed.May be they are not together yet but things have progressed.Thats why you never see Nat leaving Steve's side.May be next movie will answer.As Bruce is in the picture,does Nat leave with him or still sticks with Steve?The questions are there.

To Thanos using the glove is probably not only right but merciful. We hear throughout the movie that he actually goes to planets killing half the population. Using the glove saves all the killing and destruction, half are just gone and the universe can flourish, in his eyes.

I have seriously never been so satisfied by a movie. I am so happy with it on so many levels! That shot where Thanos and Cap are making eye contact while Cap knows he isn't going to win but Thanos is looking at him with anger but a hint of respect that this man with no chance, without question will protect his friends and his planet. Cap is a hero through and through. Everything was so great in this film.
