This idea of having to click a button every time you want a train maintained is bad enough with only a small number of trains, but with more trains it would very quickly become a complete pain in the neck.
@GlanderBrondurg5 жыл бұрын
It doesn't look so bad since you can schedule when maintenance happens. It is needless micromanagement though to plan that repair on every line.

It should be automatic once you buy a maintenance shack.
@ostlandr5 жыл бұрын
@@vincewilson1 Railroad Tycoon 3 required you to send trains for maintenance. The maintenance shop was a separate "station" that you included in the train's schedule. You also added sand & water towers along your routes, and the trains would stop automatically as needed.

1:50 Your choice of words is great; and I just heard the phrase "with abandon" the first time ever; naturally it's confusing to a non-native speaker, so I had to look it up, only to realize the expression is a short form of "with abandonment of inhibition", i.e. freely (I guess). So in addition to entertaining videos, I also learned something, great channel!

The trick is short profitable routes to start with into Bowling Green where you build a repair shop and set all you trains to repair every time they get to that station, once you expand only set one of the stations for example Barnstable Town repairs the coal and iron trains each time they visit. Make sure your main stations have loads of upgrades too so they repair and refuel quick and cheap.

Colonel Failure...You are my "go to" when it comes to gaming advice. You have given me a good review of this game, so I thank you with abandon and I'll wrench myself away from this video and station myself in Steam! Thanks for helping decide whether to buy the game or not. Keep up the good work!!

Happy to oblige. Hopefully I provide enough of a look at a game for you to make your mind up whether it's for you or not.

This games seem to be a dev project to approve a signature or get a diploma. It's always a piece of what would make a good railroad tycoon game, every attempt out there does a couple of things very good, and mediocre or not at all the rest

I think you may need to duplicate (or even triple) the stations in the route (e.g. New Orleans, Barnstable, New Orleans, Barnstable, New Orleans, Barnstable) and then select only one of the stops in Barnstable for maintenance. This should keep them on task and not waste time getting fixed up on every visit.
