I used this technique today and it turned out really well. Took me six hours though.😊Two stars and a wish: the condition of her hair was very good except the very ends, and the color was uniform. Should have mixed new bleach though for the top as it took a while to develop adding to the lengthier time as I had to reapply several times and wait. Rinsed the back off first, then the bottom sides before finishing with the top. She was very happy with the result as am I. Couldn’t have done this without your tutelage! 💕

This is why blonde takes so much time and money. I foiled my hair by myself yesterday. Really hard to do lol. I don’t like salons tho they mess up my hair every single time. But I love watching her videos!

I wanted to go fully blond, but my stylist did what she wanted and made a balayage, applying dark dye onto my roots, and in between. Now the bleached hair is already really damaged, + I hated the look from the first day. I don't know if fixing it will leave me bald and/or be more expensive than I can afford. I wanted to be blond for such a long time, cause I'm German but don't look like it: so I wanted a natural blond. What my stylist did to me looks the most unnatural it could look. I'm so frustrated. :'(
@shaz4179 Жыл бұрын
Maybe it's time to find a new hairdresser, if you want to go a bit more blonde but worried about the prices start doing a full head of highlights then slowly just do your roots which is what I do as I am naturally dark and I have beautiful healthy blonde hair hope it helps x

wow, that's awesome; I'm still wondering whether I should one day try going full blonde rather than highlighted or balayage look - as my hair is coarse, wavy redish dark blonde, I have doubts about whether its a good or bad idea.

@@BobbyHairStudio thank you for encouraging! given how my blonde fades back to warm tones, that would be living dangerously :), but, it may be fun to have such a radical change; and after all, the mixing of blonde strands with my natural auburn does make my hair even more orange looking than if is was a full bleachout which I could tone properly.

LOVE your videos!! What is the advantage of putting the hair in the foils first as opposed to not using them and avoiding the root then doing it later? TY in advanced!
@BobbyHairStudio2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! The foils keep the work clean between the highlights and insulate the heat so you get the best lift
@johanneshalberstadt36632 ай бұрын
But...if there is a substantial amount oh highlights....there are heavilo prebleached hairs mixed with unbleached ones right? Do you weave the very lightened ones out? I mean I know they can't be seperated perfectly. But you need the unbleached hairs to not be orange or yellow, while not overprocessing the (possibly several times) prebleached hair. But I gues it's a case of embracing some unavoidable breakage, that won't stick out too much because it is all blended in?
@BobbyHairStudio2 ай бұрын
Exactly! This is the difficult call to make with each and every strand while you decide to saturate it with bleach or not! CC's are sooooo mentally exhausting because you just get snow blindness after 3 hours of foiling!!
