I bought the 1/4" valve from you all and put it in-line between my dual port and my apple blossom 5 gal. And even when I have it turned all the way off/closed it pulls a lot of surfactant 🤷‍♂️

That is odd. Have you tried to replacing the valve. If the valve is closed it should draw any surfactant.

How would I hook up your downstream injector to my remote injector?

Love the video and love the tool, but I am confused about the soft wash part. What makes that a soft wash? You are using a 5.5GPM pressure washer with a jrod and a downstream injector. Unless I am wrong, isn't that a pressure wash? If it isn't then I am confused about the difference between a soft wash and a pressure wash.

Great question! As far as equipment goes it is a pressure washer and there is soft washing equipment as well. But the difference between soft washing and pressure washing is the impact pressure on the surface. So, regardless of the equipment used the method of application and how the pressure washing is used will determine if you are soft washing or pressure washing.

How do you know what your draw rate is for the SH and surfactant with this injector? so say ur pumping say 4 gpm, how much from each injector is being pulled so I know how hot the mix is in terms of percentages?

Do a bucket test and have both 1 gallon jugs marked so you can figure out your draw ratio.

Why do you have to batch mix the apple with water first instead of utilizing the metering valve?

Because it is highly concentrated. Otherwise you will be wasting the product

No, 12 volt systems do not create high enough pressure to for down streaming.

Do you mean hooking up your lines to a proportioning valve system..if so, yes you can..hook up would be on the out that side of your proportioner. But you will not be using your 12 volt pump at all.

I've been noticing alot of guys putting three injectors on the hose reel after the pump I didn't know you could do that great way to avoid putting SH through your pump do you still get the same results?

This will work for house washing and se light roof cleanings. Normally, to do roofs you need a softwash system

Isn't your full flow from your PW greatly reduced by squeezing all the water through the injector without a bypass loop? Or do you have a bypass that I am not seeing? Would a Flow Pro where it turns the valve off at the bypass be mechanically better? (or could you build one the same way). I am just trying to understand fullyy the soapbox

The bypass loop only applies when you don't want to use the injector to achieve full flow. If you have the bypass and the injector at the same time the injector won't work correctly and mostly likely not at all.

Hi Mike, When you pull (SH) through the line without the adjustable valve do you then put it into a clean water bucket after your done to rinse out the injector? Or do you have clean oit both lines 🤔?

I recommend rinsing it out after every use or at the very least at the end of the day. Bleach will corrode the injector if you don't rinse.

Why? You won't get any higher percentage hitting the surface than using a single port.
