Another great segment of trail. Crossing those summits are so rewarding. Glad you were able to accomplish your goal at Hope pass. Glad the weather held off while you made up and over the pass. Beautiful views from up there. Fun to see the grouse. Whole family of them too. Dang rain again! Time to hunker down in the tents. Hope it clears up for you for the next day. Have a great day.

@@Packsalot Thank you! I was wondering how difficult Hope Pass would be. I’d heard lots of stories about how tough it would be, but not so much at least for me. Rain was the name of the game on this journey. Thanks for following along.✌️

Enjoyed the absolute great scenery from a section of trail I haven't hiked along! Loved the way you treated yourself on Hope Pass and appreciate the way you call out the place names of the mountains and other features. Following along with onX Backcountry.

@@DrJohn493 The Collegiate West turned out to be absolutely stunning. The camera did not do it justice.

Great video! Rain has plagued us as well during our last major hikes. You get used to it after a while. Love that you can and do look up to confirm the sites. Great job!

Thank you! I'm used to hiking in the rain now, but I don't believe I'll ever get used to setting up and breaking down camp in it. Ugh. My UL umbrella did come in handy for that. Both the FarOut app and the CT Trail Guide pocketbook were great for water sources and finding possible places to camp. Thanks for watching!

A couple of questions. What was your start date? What is your current age? & Moose Pops Age? Thanks
@tangenttrailsАй бұрын
@@SeeYouOnTheSummit I started on 7/16. We were slow rolling the trail due to my knee. I’m 63 and Moose Pop is in his 70’s.
