You Husker Fans do realize, that when you look back on the last 9 season, that turnovers are a BIG part of the game, right? When it happens for 1 season, it might be bad luck, but you guys have been trash in that department since forever. So when ya blow off turnovers as an excuse, you aren't doing yourselves any favors. It speaks to poor coaching. Jeff Sims never should have been a Big 10 Starting QB, but your coach called him a "sure-fire NFL QB" when he got him from Ga Tech. Nebraska did get to Sanders last year quite a bit. He ran out of bounds or threw it away often, along with some actual sacks. The issue last year was as soon as Nebraska was on offense the QB turned the ball over. The defense was never allowed to rest. Even after 4 turnovers, the score was close until the defense became gassed entirely. Before the 4th quarter, the defense mainly ran 2s and 3s. This year, I see CU around the same level as last year with slight improvement, but much of the same issues. Too many things are not corrected. This also shows up in practice videos. NU, on the other hand, has made huge improvements on both sides of the ball. NU's defense returns many players and improved each game last year. I see this as a 20-31 NU win. It would be larger, but Rhule will put in the 3s during the 4th quarter.

If anyone needed proof that Pro Football Focus Grades are gathered by Trained Monkeys, here's your proof. Sheduer is an amazing QB though, and he is capable of picking any team apart, including the Huskers. But Nebraska lost that CU game in 2023 because Jeff Sims was abomination to God, QB Play, and the American Way.

In 2023, Nebraska gave Colorado the game with 4 turnovers inside their 50 yard line. No can win when that happens. This year, they're at home and more discipled. Nebraska 28 - Colorado 23.

It’s interesting to me that nobody mentions Tommy Hill in this matchup. A guy PFF graded out to be to the top returning corner and a first or second round corner back pick. I think Nebraskas interior offensive line and our ability to go four deep at running back is the key to the game. We run straight through Colorado all day.

Love the statistical breakdown. Only thing I will say is Dalton missed that Nebraska had no problems getting the Shedeur last year...Nebraska sacked Sheduer 8 times last year! It was the turnovers that killed Nebraska and the fact that they had no QB.

Shedeur is now in his 8th year of being a starting QB and has a 76-16 record. He has the ability to put the team on his back. The O-line will show improvement and are edge rushers will get to Raiola. I think CU defense records 3 sacks and a pick. 35-24 CU with a tough, good win in Lincoln

Dylan didn't play all 4 quarters like Shedeur did, because he played well enough in 3 to leave the game entirely. Schedeur and Travis won't be able to hold up for 4 quarters with Nebraska like they did with NDSU. Hunter won't be able to play a million snaps against a MUCH better football team. Shedeur is gonna get sacked several times and the o line will have several penalties. Also, Hunter won't be able to get away with push offs like he did last week.

Let's throw in there one quick three-and-out and another stop on defense. Sanders will only have 5 possessions all game, and he will be put into the dirt half a dozen times again. Gonna take more than 3 stars to beat a legit Power 4 school and not an FCS school everyone and their mother thought had a chance against the sorry buffs.
