It might be odd, but one thing I am learning from watching your videos is how to work through the ugly stage. If I had been painting when you put on that yellowy green color, I would have probably stopped and grabbed a new piece of paper. I thought it was ruined. BUT, you worked through it and created a lovely piece at the end. Same as when you cut things up. I started doing that and I even make the same noises when it works out. lol

As I was watching this, I was thinking, " oh, sure! Of course she finds a cheaper alternative to the brass nib after I buy it." But I will be able to use that pen with SO many things. Thanks for all the suggestions as to finishing/fixing/pulling it all together at the end. Those are very helpful tips for me 😁

I store my stencils in a three ring binder with plastic sleeves. I put coloured paper in between so I can use both sides of sleeve.

Stencil storage? I use notebook sleeves with paper as dividers to enable me to use both sides and store in a 3ring binder. Much easier to flip thru and see what you have. Mine are sorted according to shapes or botanicals or whatever the category is that makes sense to my left handed brain. I also store clear stamps in the same manner in another 3 ring binder.

This is a great idea! I'm currently using a paper storage container (used in scrapbooking) so that they can lie flat, but the collection is becoming cumbersome to sort through.

I love these colors!! And, I know you didnt like the dark olivey green or the bright purple, but I adored those colors in there, and then when you went back and added the scribble line through each piece with those colors - AMAZING 😍😍❤️❤️ (chef's kiss) I love these!!! You are so amazing 😍❤️❤️❤️

Haha loved the ‘brush drop’. Made me Laugh out loud as it’s something I could do. The thing I do most often is doze off while I’m painting something I need to finish and it’s late at night I jerk awake to find my brush has skittered across what I’m painting and now I have a line of unwanted color across what I’m painting.

I have family in Tenn… but I’m from Atlanta and still live here. Way too many people here. I’d like to move, just don’t know where I want to go. My parents moved here when they were just out of high school! They were so young! I’ve had those punchinella pieces for years. Got them off Etsy when I saw them. I saw an artist use a magic eraser to lift marks she didn’t like from her work in progress. That might have worked well for the oil pastel marks you didn’t like.

Some of the color challenges use the main set. To be honest, I’m all over the place with what I choose to play with… just start experimenting with them! 😊
