Whether you're aware of it or not, brands use colour to make you buy their products or services. The research area that studies this topic it is called 'colour psychology'.
In this video, I go around London and show you how some of the most famous brands use colour in their branding and WHY they do that.

Black, red & white are very effective in advertising to men. Perhaps the red triggers the “blood” instinct of hunter ancestors. If you squint at a magazine rack, you can pick out the magazines targeted to men by just these colours!

Green one is sort of wrong, the easiest and most wellknown color to understand is yellow, hence why some use yellow papers for people with disabilities, green is more a color that is heavily assocatied with nature, as in being ''natural'' or ''eco-friendly'', not being pleasant to look at, most vibrant hues of green are actually pretty eye-gouging where as yellow usually always manages to feel more mellow in it's hue. Also, if Starbucks is deemed healthy to you, then fuck, I guess Lucky Charms is the new weight loss cereal.
