I have bought so many books that I regret buying. It is still hard to not buy books, there are so many that look interesting & older books that I might not be able to get later. Older books seem to have better paper too. I am glad that you are not getting rid of everything and giving some books some time to change your mind too. I think when you are sick it is too hard to enjoy anything but hopefully you will be well for a while & enjoy the books you keep. I do agree too much stuff is overwhelming.

Yes, I was the same in the beginning just buying everything without really knowing my tastes. I don't like it when my shelves are overflowing it makes me feel stilted, like I can't colour until I sort it out. Just the two shelves I've done so far have made me feel loads better 🥰

@@ArtJourneyUK I am glad it is making you feel better. I feel like I have heard a lot that clutter is stressful, maybe this fits too. I am also interested in quilting, I may never actually make a large quilt but I still buy fabric (shame on me but I like them). They have a word for a lot of cloth Sable-stash accumulated beyond life expectancy. More fabric than you can sew fast enough to use up. I think I am like that with coloring books too. I do not color fast enough, I am not sure I will ever color an entire book etc. My husband says my hobby is collecting hobby supplies. Apparently I am very good at it. Maybe someday I will be more like you.

This was fun! 😊 I, too, get to a point where I get overwhelmed with the number of books I have, feeling that I'll never get to some of them. Our tastes change over time, too. I've reigned my spending in for now to get through some of the books I've had for ages, and only add what I know I will enjoy to my wishlist. I did, however, spot two Color Questopia books I never had but now would like to (Witches and Mermaids, I like the more detailed CQ books) 😁 Thanks for sharing! 😊

Yes, absolutely. I was having difficulty seeing the wood for the trees with my favourite books hidden in the midst of the ones I'm never likely to colour in! Those older CQ books are the best. Thanks for watching and the lovely comment :)

I discovered that I like coloring dots/circles. I wish color by number dot, stone or circulism coloring books were available in my country.

I’ve nearly finished the stone mandalas mosaic book. I’ve been changing it up a bit by using the pen numbers rather than the colour numbers.

I just begin buying books with numbers, I’ve got 10 books with numbers only. You are lucky to have 40 plus books with numbers (hahahaha). And It's less stressful with numbers!
