Hi, Thank you for this tutorial and the previous one which are really great. I just have a quick question please. How can we ensure that the sword does not collide with other 3D objects? Because if we move towards walls for example, the blade of the sword goes through. I tried adding a colision capsule but it doesn't change anything. I cannot increase the character's capsule otherwise he would no longer be able to pass correctly in certain places. Thank you for your answer and congratulations for your channel.

Hey there, and thank you very much. In response to your question, I've never attempted that, but perhaps you could try both the skeletal and static meshes using the item collision or additional collision presets. I'll have a look later, and if something pops up, I'll update my response. Good luck

my anim notify state looks different, my left window has a search bar saying "Enter function or even name to find references" im using 5.3

Add a montage notify to where you want to interrupt with a name such as 'ready'. Then, in the event graph from the play montage, do a switch from the name node and connect the white execution pin to on notify begin since by default it won't. And put the exact name in the switch node, and after that, have your other code.

For that use the same technique, like you would follow from a light to light, you can do light heavy, heavy light and so on.
