I so appreciated your remark about the restoration....the restoration of people. It puts a different spin and feeling on the process maybe because the focus is different than what we usually identify as being restored. This was an amazing lesson! Thank you, Brother Halverson!!!! Again!!!! You're amazing¡!!!!!! You are so loved and appreciated!!! I hope you know....

Thank you for unpacking Ephesians for us. I can see how much Paul loves the Lord and wants to share God's love with his fellow citizens in Christ Jesus, with his brothers and sisters. Gathering all things into one; Good focus to have, thru the lens of the Gospel of Christ. ❤

11:40 A distinct Godhead verse. Ephesians 1: 3,4

Your discussion of Eph 1:10 re: "....Gather together in one all things in Christ" brings two thoughts to mind. First, the leadership of the Church seem to have accelerated the rate at which they are reaching out to those of other faiths, focusing on finding solutions too common/shared problems. Second, in the Book of Mormon, a great metaphor for this verse is Lachoneus (Christ figure) gathering together all the Nephites and Lamanites into one place to stand against Giddianhi (Satan figure) and his wicked hordes. Lots of good lessons there. See 3 Nephi 3:13 (12-16). Anyway, as usual, you've got me thinking!

God is my beginning and end. May he twart me from all sin and unholy acts and time. Thanks be to Jesus Christ! Set me free and gave me salvation; the entire armour of God! May I wear it and believe! Be reminded and actively think with it and through it realizing it is with me- thanks be to God! Thanks be to God! Let in sin not be in trust! The holy life of Jesus Christ is heart and cross and only through mercy of grace shall I be in time! Thank you God. Heal and gift God, not me but you and with and through you from you in rejoice to given from given. You are my heart and my head. Thank you holy for accepting in the time you give, my heart with washing me clean with the Christ acceptance in rejoice! I hope in acceptance in you that others accept and are saved and live a life in acceptance of Jesus Christ in rejoice too! In Jesus name, amen. Thank you! God bless those in learning and teaching to glorify you! In Jesus name, amen When I believe in the depths of my heart of your way, truth and life, my acceptance and trust for you is salvation! Your power not mine! Your judgement God not others or my own. Thank you for mercy! Thank you Jesus saviour for the salvation and purity. Your cleansing of the rejoicing- let me believe! In Jesus name, amen

Hey Jared. I love your podcasts, and decided that hopefully you could help me with a question I have had for years. Did Christ's Atonement apply to other worlds?
@disciplesofjesuschrist2026 Жыл бұрын
Herein is wisdom: It has been said of one of your own prophets (Brigham Young) that the spirit world is a dimension on this earth. Work is carried out in temples throughout the world for and on behalf of those spirits who reside in the world of spirits so that they may be redeemed through recognition and acceptance of gospel ordinances as prescribed by Jesus Christ by proxy. So if this is the case then the answer to your question is in the affirmative as there are two known worlds that have access to the blessings of the Atonement, however there are others but let this suffice.

Dear Brother Halverson- I’m pausing this to thank you so tenderly for talking about the LGBT community as my daughter-in-law is bi- sexual yet has chosen to be in a heterosexual marriage to my son who is a member of the church and whom has given me two of the most precious grandchildren on earth. I love her dearly and as you say only seek to show her all of my love and never to judge her for past choices or the struggle she continues to have with her sexual identification. They have many “rainbow “ flags and proclamations in their home. I focus on the love that is given in their home and only seek to understand the struggle she faces. I find this a curious time on earth when so many feel free to express those sexual identities and I strongly feel that they have been placed here in this earth at this time so they can experience the full richness of life and not be put to death before they have been given the opportunity to find the gospel and more importantly God’s love. Thank you x 10,000 talents ❤

So good! 😊🫶🏻 When you were talking about works and how we aren’t doing works to pay God back, but to pay it forward.. the thought came to mind from your commentary on when Paul talked about why we go through tribulations… That that gives us an opportunity for God to be with us, to console us, and then we can turn around and use that consolation, love, and compassion, and even joy, to love others and bear their burdens. I think this is a smiliar thing… we do our works because we love Him, and we do it through our gratitude and love that we have for Him. I’ve found that it legitimately comes naturally… I do the things I do out of the love I have for Him, and in so doing, others can feel that love of God for them through my works. 🤗 I’m always at awwww… God’s math is not our math…

I have a problem with your constant insination that we, as member of the Church are not welcoming. That is not the ward & stake I live in. We have a very multicultural ward & love each other. Single sisters have been very much involved & hold leadership positions. Our stake as 2 different ethnic wards (spanish & samoan). We love & work together. I don't do GUILT TRIPS.
@disciplesofjesuschrist2026 Жыл бұрын
Sister Taylor, we see no insinuation that church members are not welcoming in Bro Halversons discourse but rather that in some circles there are discrimination, intolerance or injustice not only between members but fellow-citizens. In the words of Pres Nelson. " I call upon OUR MEMBERS everywhere to lead out in abandoning attitudes and actions of prejudice,” . “I plead with you to promote respect for all of God’s children.” (Church News 5 Oct 2020) It is most noble that there is love manifest as you mention in your Ward and would to God that all would emulate the same but the reality is that human judgement can and does interfere in Gods Plan of Happiness and such issues needs to be addressed in love as Bro Halverson is declaring.

The Gods above have already disclosed it will not be possible to ALL become one. We do strive, or try for that oneness, but this will not happen, nor did it before the foundations of this Earth. Worlds have they created without end, Heavens( plural) Kingdoms within Kingdoms, many Mansions have they created, levels, glory, brightness, promises, inheritance, faithfulness, righteousness, etc. Yes, it's great to have diversity, opinions, opposition,etc. Yes, we remember the 2nd commandment. Yet, we ALL need to remember Luke 14:26. We can remember some of Christ's final words of that new commandment to love. We may extend that love and mercy! However, let us remember Christ moved on after rejection and those not wanting to become "one" Scriptures that state, " I never knew you" and 3 Nephi 19: 29. Tough patience and love on these fine lines with this 2nd commandment. Serve and cry repentance unto this people. Never stop talking about THEIR sacred names and doing THEIR will. With or without family( since we're all Bros &Sis) around us. Christ bore MANY things alone, so can we if we are to be like him. ❤ If Churches, government, laws, family, occupation, lack of morals & faith, guidelines, institutions disappoint. We have our Gods above to worship and never stop dwelling. Without cost. Since we ALL were bought with a price long before. Regardless of where, or our circumstance. EVERYONE is given that God given right. In heart, mind, spirit, body, desire,etc. 😇
